Beer district libération — Restaurant in Nice

My wife and I visited Beer District twice during our stay in Nice. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke very good English. They never once made us feel unwelcome or uncomfortable, and they were very helpful in determining which local beers would suit our tastes.

They have an excellent selection of craft beer, including a few of their own. The draft selections are plentiful, but they also have many cans and bottles. The staff loved helping us choose. They had several food options, but we chose charcuterie boards both nights, which had excellent flavors and did not disappoint.

Both nights it got very busy around 8 PM, but it was never overcrowded. It seemed like mostly locals and perhaps a few regulars, which is always a great sign. As Americans, we never felt out of place. The facility is only about a three-minute walk to a tram stop.

I went to this place mainly for the large beer selection, but realized I hadn't eaten in a while so I ordered some cheese, sausage and fries. WOW. Everything was beyond expectation. The cheese was so tasty and a perfect mix of flavours and varieties. Needless to say that the homemade fries were satisfying on so many levels. (I love fries and enjoy them all over the world. These are now my most favorite.

Love the energy and good vibes amongst the staff, and also between customers both regulars and new faces. It's so nice that they offer a small taste before you decide what to get a full glass of. I highly recommend that you drop by here if you're in Nice. Good times guranteed no matter who you are or if you go with friends, family or all by your self. You will enjoy your time spent in here...

These guys have it DOWN! Top-notch draft beer selection (available in 25cl, 50 cl, and flights) and a very impressive, high-end selection of bottles. Great music, great vibes, great food (house fries!), and excellent service from the staff. Chatted at length with the gentleman from NYC behind the bar- great guy, super friendly, and passionate about his work.
