This is an absolutely first class brasserie. Spotlessly clean with swift, professional service, but friendly. We felt very welcome even though it was lunchtime and we only wanted drinks, however, the choice of food was so varied and what we glanced at on other tables looked so appetising, that we ordered a light lunch. Ham and cheese omelette (menu included frites and salad) and a ham and cheese pancake (menu included green salad). We couldn't fault it. It's very conveniently located on the Rue de France which runs parallel to the Prom. des Anglais. Look for the Hotel Negresco on google aerial view because it's easy to spot, and it's on that part of the the Rue de France behind it.
