This was the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. Not from the servers, who were all pretty kind, but I was served a dish with rotten guacamole, ate not even two bites of it before I sent it back (which i’ve NEVER done before mostly because I’m not all that confrontational, but also because I’ve never received something that’s so obviously gone bad) I asked if maybe I could have something small as a replacement, but was told it was not possible because I “ate too much of the meal” I asked another waitress and she confirmed that I hardly touched it. So I decided to go inside to try and get some of my money back! I’m a student so dropping almost twenty euros on something I didn’t eat is not in my budget. Keep in mind, I’m also eighteen and French is not my first language so I was feeling all sorts of nervous to speak to someone, but I approached the front register and apologized for any inconvenience. The woman called her manager to ask if I could have any of my money back, he promptly told her no and hung up on her. I explained to her and my original server that I hadn’t eaten anything and I was feeling pretty in the way at this point, so I just wanted my money back. Then I (a kid) was put on the phone with the manager while he SCREAMED at me that I was trying to steal from them, telling me I was (in French terms) very stupid, and that since I ordered it and slightly touched it I HAD to pay. (Btw I was fine with paying for some of it, but I thought it was fair to get at least some money back) I politely explained to him that the guacamole was rotten, and that another very kind server had confirmed that it was bad, and he began to interrogate me about which server it was. I didn’t give her up because why would I get the only person in that establishment who treated me with respect in trouble with this evil man?! He shouted back, how DARE I make the assumption that their products were anything but fresh, and told me my tastebuds were wrong, which would be alright because taste is subjective, however I literally had confirmation that the product was bad. This man genuinely verbally abused me over the phone, and I want to send prayers to those poor servers because that man was the WORST person I’ve ever encountered in the service industry. Food was overpriced too and I HOPE he sees this review and knows that it’s painfully obvious how much he sucks lol
Edit: I’ve received a response accusing me of lying in this review. I understand that my review has been reposted however I would like to confirm that I am the original poster. As for “who I am”, I think it’s ridiculous of the owner to think I would give my personal information to him after being spoken to with such disgusting remarks. I would be happy to provide proof of payment to this restaurant, and the accusation that I would lie about something so serious is disappointing, however I cannot say it is unexpected. I think it’s very interesting how there is somehow zero recollection of the incident which happened a few days ago. In no way, shape, or form am I trying to harm this establishment, all the other food received in our order was fine. However, I will not be bullied into not sharing my experience, and I think that some more accountability needs to be taken. Proof of payment is attached.
Edit #2: I never stated that I came alone to your establishment. I came with a friend of mine, who picked up the bill because I had to leave the restaurant because of how awfully I was treated. I have the utmost respect for service workers, as I have worked in a restaurant myself! I would like to repeat myself. In, NO WAY am I trying to harm this establishment, but I can tell through the ignorant responses left on my review that you are trying to give any excuse to pass this off as an elaborate scheme to take down your business. Pour commence le service étant plus que médiocre.. on reçois les plat avant les boissons.. bien évidement je tien à préciser que nous n’avions toujours pas de couverts.. donc aucune mise en place .. j’ai du me lever pour prendre le sel .. quelle service .. wow 5 étoiles..
Pour le fromage je tien à dire que votre employé nous a demander si nous souhaitions un peu de fromage pour le petit, (même pas 5g)et nous avons dit simplement oui, à aucun moment on nous as dit que c’était en supplément ( et d’ailleurs de puis quand on paye un supplément pour cacher la misère d’un plat? ) D’ailleurs votre collègue a dit que c’est la cuisine qui a demandé à ce que ce soit facturé.. non mais je rêve c’est la cousine qui commande la salle maintenant.
Vous dites que si j’avais prévenue la serveuse elle m’aurai changer l’assiette ? Ah mais attendez, ça était fait. Déjà au moment où nous avions reçu nos plat on constate déjà un problème, et la dame nous dit que c’est du fromage.. mais aucun fromage sur les œufs.. déjà la.. y’a un problème. Bref on passe, ça arrive .. dans mon plat également un autre, et je passe, dans l’assiette de mon fils y en avais pleins.. la par contre stop. Devine sa réponse? « du coup vous en voulez plus ? » eh bah non je n’en veux plus..
Nous n’avons pas insisté à manger dehors, ne changer pas le cours de l’histoire par contre car quand nous sommes arrivé y avais personne pour nous accueillir déjà.
Et si vous avez vraiment suivi l’histoire c’est pas de paye 1€ ce fromage qui n’allait pas mais le fait que nous ayons même pas eu des excuse ( c’est gratuit je tien à vous informer), mais à la place on nous facture 1€ de plus. Aucune offre commerciale rien du tout. Ah pardon si, vous nous traiter limite de menteurs.. Comme vos employés, votre réponse n’as rien de professionnel.
Je doute fortement de votre professionnalisme et votre propreté..puisque votre serveuse nous a bien confirmé que c’était des poils de pull ..

The décor is warm and inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that immediately feels welcoming. The line can get a bit long during breakfast hours, but it moves quickly; we only waited about 15 minutes. Our server was very friendly, and the food arrived surprisingly fast.
