Citron D’or — Restaurant in Nice

An excellent selection of foods, and despite language differences (neither of us spoke particularly good French, but it was our lingua franca) the staff were able to communicate enthusiastically when more of a particular dish was about to arrive at the buffet (and fast and regular with the bottles of water too). It was raining when we arrived and tea towels had been hastily put on the floor to stop slips on the white tiled floor, this combined with the booth seating that looked both a little worn and unmatched with the decor to give a feeling of ephemerality to the place. Strangely after 9pm on a Sunday it felt more like a kids feeding station than a restaurant, probably on account of the pricing structure (which varies depending on the day and the time). At €20 per person before drinks it's not the cheapest meal, but far from expensive, and the quality, the variety and quantity are difficult to beat. Assolutamente deludente! Starò sicuramente male ed ho già dolori di pancia dopo poche decine di minuti 😡 Siamo stati in questo ristorante cinese a buffet con grandi aspettative, ma è stata una pessima esperienza dall'inizio alla fine. Il cibo era completamente insipido, senza alcun sapore autentico. Come se non bastasse, ho trovato dei capelli sia nel cibo che sul tavolo, una cosa davvero gravissima e inaccettabile! 🤢

Il personale puliva ovunque con la stessa pezza, senza mai sciacquarla o lavarla, rendendo la situazione ancora più disgustosa. Il sushi, poi, sembrava addirittura lavato, tanto era privo di gusto e consistenza. Non ho parole per descrivere la delusione.

Come ciliegina sulla torta, l'acqua da 1 litro ci è stata fatta pagare la bellezza di 4,50 euro!!! Un vero scandalo. Vergognoso e inaccettabile. Vi consiglio di starne...

Lamentable, affreux, à éviter ! Nous y sommes allés fin février le dernier we de la fête des citrons. Resto débordé et pas sérieux ! L'approvisionnement des plats est fait sur notre demande. L'employé vide un sachet de produits surgelés qu'il éventre avec un cutter et vide sans ménagement dans un plat devant nous. La cuisson de fruits de mer à la plancha est malmenée et archi grillée. Complètement décevant. Je comprends qu'en temps de fête il y ait plus de monde mais dans ce cas, embauchez ! Et les desserts.... Idem... Approvisionnement fait à notre demande. Barquette de minis portions surgelées juste enlevée de son emballage plastique et laissée telle quelle sur le présentoir. Franchement une catastrophe.
