The good: great vibes, and the food we ordered (croque-monsieur) was delicious. The bad: very noisy street, and smokers at the terrace The ugly: the service. This bar has a bunch of self-serve draught beer taps. Kinda fun at first until you try to figure out how to do it. You need to buy a card first, put some money in it (need to know how much the beer is and what size glass you use). Once this was done, I put my glass under the tap and pour, only to see that only foam goes out. Read moreI was walking along Port Lympia soaking in the seaside atmosphere. It was hot and I needed some rest. I went into Foam, ordered some coffee and cake. What a pleasant surprise this restaurant turned out to be!

A lovely square piece of warm brownie with dripping hot chocolate sauce with dollops of vanilla ice cream and cream, garnished with sliced roasted almonds. Délicieux! And the price at €6 is reasonable too. I loved it. I felt reenergised after my coffee break and went out to take more pictures of the port area. Fantastic memories of Nice!
The staff is extremely helpful and serves with a smile. Merci...

As you pour the beer so a display indicates the credit on your pre - paid card depleting very rapidly. This place is called "Foam" for a very good reason, because all you get in your glass is exactly that, foam!! It is a most laborious task to actually get any beer and it's very expensive. 25 cl ranging from €3.50 to €6.00!!!! The whole thing is an absolute take on. If this was in England, Trading Standards would be on them like a ton of bricks!! Avoid...
