Don’t like to write bad reviews but feel like it’s necessary to help others avoid the disappointment I experienced. The dish I’ve been hunting for, the bouillabaisse wasn’t at all the way we expected it to be: something bland with no variety of fish or clams in it but at a very night price for what we got. I wanted to try this soup so much but got so disappointed. Although the owner claims it’s the “touristic” kind of soup I liked the last time I was in Nice, there was no picture on the internet even close to the “true” version we got tonight. Totally not recommended. The fish soup they serve for starters is the same “bouillabaisse” but with no fish in it. Couldn’t even finish this mass of mashed cheakpeas or what it was.. As for the octopus that costs 22€ - you’ll get just three small pieces of it. Sad.

It pains me to have to write a one star review, but my experience at this restaurant does an injustice to the name restaurant and the industry as a whole. Overall, the food wasn’t bad, the atmosphere on the port is nice. The issue arose when the wine I wanted wasn’t available. I had originally asked for a white wine around 40 euros. The server/owner came out to let me know the bottle wasn’t available but that they had something similar. I didn’t ask the price because I thought I didn’t have to. Mistake. When the bill comes, I see a 2022 Pouilly Fuisse on the check for 115 euros. I didn’t want to make a huge scene and ruin other people’s dinners, so I hope the extra 75 euros I spent for that bottle helps keep someone else from making the same mistake. Bottle and receipt attached.

A Hidden Gem in the Port of Nice! We had an unforgettable lunch in the sun at this authentic seafood restaurant in the picturesque port of Nice. The food was absolutely amazing — fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully plated. Each dish felt like a celebration of the sea and the region’s culinary traditions. The service was just as impressive. Roberto the waiter and The staff were warm, generous, and genuinely kind. Our waiter took great care of us, offering thoughtful recommendations and making us feel truly welcome. Enjoying such delicious food under the Mediterranean sun, with a view of the boats and the calm buzz of the harbor, was pure magic. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Nice — a true local treasure!

A complete disaster - avoid avoid avoid

We had a business dinner here for about 55 people. The venue and the kitchen's capacity we completely oversold.

We were told, in case of bad weather, there would be a completely sealed heated terrace. This couldn't have been further from the truth. We arrived and only the sun protection was out, the seats were wet and the heaters weren't on, leaving half of our diners to eat in the cold rain.

We were told there was a stereo with a microphone, for our speech, this didn't exist.

We were told that the staff were used to dealing with parties of this size, and that everyone would be served within about 15mins of each other. This is untrue. in fact there was more than 15 mins wait between the main course and it's side dishes...

We were told that the restaurant could easily cope with up to 75 people, this was also untrue, as the kitchen couldn't even cope with 50.

We were told that all the staff spoke perfect english...this was also untrue

We were told that, having paid a substantial deposit, we would be able to come back and pay for the remaining balance at our own leisure when we had had a chance to check the bill. This was untrue.

The staff were friendly and did what they could to cope with the situation, but it was clear from the very first minute that they had made a huge mistake and cannot cope with a party of that size.

This made me personally look bad in front of my work colleagues and...

We really wanted to like this place. The staff were friendly and the place was nice and clean, but empty. We were the only guests for the evening. Not that this was unusual. Walking through the harbor, almost all of the restaurants were empty. Not sure why as it was a Thursday evening around 7 pm. Now, the reason for the 1 star. The food. Oh, boy. Blandest meal we have ever had the entire trip for the money. My wife had the fish soup, which was nothing but a thick broth. Literally nothing else and oh so bland. She had to add something and they had already placed Tabasco on the table (maybe they knew it was tasteless), so in it went. For 18€ I would consider that overpriced, but nothing compared to what I had ordered. At 48€ for the bouillabaisse (30€ more than my wife's soup!) I was expecting to be wowed, floored, and blown away. What I received was, to say the least, underwhelming. Three small pieces of fish, which at least were fresh, and a mushy prawn in the center with a couple of baby potatoes and fresh fennel scattered around. The bouillabaisse itself, a portion equal to that of my wife's soup, was hardly more flavorful than a roux (flour and butter) and had literally no distinctive flavor whatsoever. Nothing. At. All. Some salt and still nothing. I wouldn't have paid 18€ for it much less than the 48€ that we were charged. Overpriced, bland, and not worth the time or...

Made a reservation there and when I arrived I had high hopes. Was seated at an excellent table and the service was great. I felt a bit rushed when I asked for a suggestion as to what to order. I was told the lobster pasta. I would have tried a starter but wasn’t even given a chance to order one. Food arrived and was fresh and delicious. After I finished my main is where things went downhill quickly. I ordered the cafe gourmand as did 3 other tables near by. After seeing all 3 other tables get their dessert even though I ordered first I gave up after 30 mins of waiting. I finally flagged down the server for my check. More waiting I flagged him down again and he snapped “it’s coming”. I only wanted to make sure I was not charged for my dessert. The head server came over to tell me “oh they forgot” my dessert. How is that possible? What happened is they gave mine, which I ordered first by more than 10 minutes, to someone who ordered after me. It was a decent meal but not worth the 110 euros based on the dismissive service. Left a bad taste in my mouth after trying to enjoy an evening out. Will not...
