AVOID AT ALL COSTS — SCAM ALERT!

We aimed for Le Glouphile but got lured into its sister restaurant, La Table Marine, under the false promise of the same wine bar menu. Once there, they kept us waiting 45 minutes for the owner, who was supposed to give us a description of the different wines and accompaniments. He did so, but never even disclosed the prices, a shady and ILLEGAL practice in France ! His contempt was obvious when he took our order : three glasses of wine and a small charcuterie plate, an "apéritif" that would cost us over €150, something we didn't know at the time. From then on, service dragged on, and thank God we never got our dessert or a final drink. The owner’s arrogance and bait-and-switch tactics made this the worst dining experience we’ve ever had. What an incredible experience we had at La Table Marine last night!! I am in a group of 12, traveling here for the UN Climate Conference and we stopped by here after an event. The owner, Romain, graciously accommodated our large group and served us personally. Each dish we had was incredibly crafted and catered to our large group to share. The wine was incredible, and you can taste and feel how much care Romain puts into his cooking. This place absolutely must be on your bucket list while traveling to Nice!! Good: Amazing food: everything was very fresh, perfectly cooked, without over-seasoning. When I say everything; it includes seafood; steak, dessert, wine, digestive :) Excellent service: friendly and helpful, passionate about what they do. Attention to detail: from the food to the coffee, everything you eat and drink has a reason to be on your plate and the owner will happily share why. Great location: beautiful view.

Bad: Price:: maybe higher than average but great value. You get what you paid for.
