Jo L'Ecaillier — Restaurant in Nice

Everything in Nice was supposed to be perfect, but the staff at this restaurant displayed racist behavior. When we first arrived, no one greeted us, so I asked how we should be seated. One of the waiters, with a very indifferent attitude, flicked a sign with his finger and quickly walked away. The sign read: "Please wait if the restaurant is crowded." After waiting for a while, no one informed us how many tables were ahead of us in the queue, so I approached another waiter to ask.

While we were still waiting, a white couple arrived behind us. When a table became available, the waiter suddenly seated the white couple before us. Shocked, I asked, "Excuse me?" and the waiter gave us a look of disbelief before finally seating us. I believe this was subtle racial discrimination. Bought the largest plater for 6, seafood was very tasty and fresh. There was little accessible crab or lobster for the money, mostly shell/for show - but the oysters and langoustines were excellent. On the nicest square so ambiance was nice and the staff were friendly...
