Found them in Google maps looking for a steakhouse, went there before it gets too busy for dinner, it's a small restaurant away from the busy nights of Nice, they have a small range of meats and fish available, more focused on grilling, they have reasonable prices and you'll receive a nice portion of food. Ordered the truffle bream Tartar as the starter, it came really fast and smelled good, you could feel how fresh the ingredients were, it was nicely spiced and you could taste the mustard seeds and chopped parsley easily inside the tartar, the only complain would be some kind of an intense taste, not sure at first what was it but when I received the main course, I was sure that the truffle they use for their sauce is not fresh and it's some kind of a dried truffle salt or something similar, it makes the taste so intense that it's not enjoyable. Prefered to eat the tartar without the truffle part, I think it'll be even tastier. As main course, ordered the rib eye which I regret now (I should've gone for the mix grill plate to taste everything) it comes after a pause and has a side dish of your choosing, it came a bit to the rare side even though I ordered it medium rare (not a problem for me, I enjoy it as long as it's not overcooked) it was sliced and nicely presented in an old fashion style metal platter. You have to order your own sauce for a +2 euros each, I ordered the truffle and gorgonzola sauce. The meat itself was soft and had a real nice crust, I couldn't taste or smell the coal or the smokeyness as it was advertised but nevertheless, it tasted good, it was soft and sliced in such a way that made it easier to handle, it lacked a bit of salt but that's understandable since it's a thick piece of meat that gets cooked (unless they dry brine it, which I don't think they did) and it's common that the meat lacks salt or spices. The ribeye is considered to fill 2 people, which in my mind can do, specially if the side gets eaten along. Both their  plates had a salad on the side, with some kind of a fried onion? Sprinkled on top which I didn't enjoy (it's too oily for a salad) and the greens were normal, nothing to brag about. The services were really good, they had 4 to 5 staff running the whole operations, making cocktails and taking orders, they could also speak English and could understand you well. much better than what I had experienced in Nice, even though their prices were lower than many other restaurants here, they were fast and paid attention to the customers, they got a bit slowed down as the night got busier but that was understandable. It's a nice restaurant if you crave some meat and want to spend the night a bit further away from the crowded summer streets of Nice, with their menu they can fulfill your desire for a night of steaks and I recommend the place for people who like steaks and grilled meat.

"A Fusion of Flavors: An Authentic Charcoal Grill Experience with a Thai Twist" To be seated: 0min with reservation (dinner) To be served: 15min (maybe peak hour) Upon our arrival, the place was already buzzing with diners, creating a lively atmosphere. The highlight of our dining experience was undoubtedly the meats, grilled to perfection over real charcoal in an open oven. This method, as opposed to gas grilling, resulted in a remarkable crisp texture, imparting a distinctive and robust flavor to all the grilled items. Adding to the thrill of the evening was our seating placement, which allowed us to watch the chef in action, performing his grilling artistry right in front of us. There was an unexpected and delightful fusion aspect to the menu. It was particularly evident in their salad dressings, which were ingeniously infused with Asian elements like ginger and sesame, giving a distinct nod to Thai cuisine. The homemade sausage was a standout dish, packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. Additionally, the chicken breast was enticingly seasoned with curry powder, while the sirloin was tender and succulent. I appreciated the chef's post-grilling technique where the meat was tossed in a mix of herbs, pepper, and coarse sea salt, enhancing its natural flavors and adding a perfect finish. The grilled octopus offered an exciting contrast of textures – crunchy on the outside, yet tender and soft within. The beef hamburger was another winner. It was served on a rich, brioche-like bun that complemented the meat perfectly. The house's original sauce added a unique twist, tying the whole dish together beautifully. Overall, this dining experience was a gastronomic delight, a fusion of the best of two worlds - classic charcoal-grilled dishes with a tasteful dash of Thai-infused touches.

During our stay in Nice, we went to this restaurant twice. The first time, we were served by a dark-haired waitress who was extremely nice. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS — the meat was excellent, the rice on the side was very tasty, and the portions were generous. Because of that great first experience, we decided to go back the next day instead of trying a new place, as I had been craving that amazing steak all day. To my surprise, this time we were served by a blonde waitress who was not as nice as the previous one. She seemed to rush through the order, and unfortunately, my steak arrived almost raw, even though I had asked for it well done. When I kindly asked if they could cook it a bit more, she didn’t seem pleased with the request, and when it came back, it was completely burnt — literally black. Such a disappointment, after looking forward to it the whole day. I had to leave more than half of the plate because the meat tasted bitter from being burnt. In the end, the kind waitress from the first day was the one who cleared the table. She asked if everything had been fine and noticed the burnt steak. I didn’t want to complain further, since my husband had already finished his meal, and I was full from forcing myself to eat some of the burnt meat. We were planning to take the dinner here our hole stay in nice, but now we will definitely try something different

L'Antica in Nice is a meat lover's paradise, offering an unforgettable dining experience that will leave you satisfied and craving more. This restaurant stands out for its incredibly generous portions, particularly when it comes to their mouthwatering steaks. One of the most impressive aspects of L'Antica is the sheer size of their servings. When you order a steak here, prepare to be amazed by the hefty cut of meat that arrives at your table. These aren't just ordinary steaks; they're substantial slabs of beef that could easily feed two people with hearty appetites. The value for money at L'Antica is truly exceptional. Despite the large portions, the prices remain reasonable, making it an excellent choice for those looking to indulge in a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.

While the steaks are undoubtedly the stars of the show, it's important to note that no meal at L'Antica is complete without ordering at least one of their delicious sauces. In fact, it's practically mandatory! These sauces are the perfect accompaniment to the expertly grilled meats, elevating the flavors and adding an extra dimension to your dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance adds to the overall experience, with the grill taking center stage in the middle of the dining area.

If you find yourself in Nice and are in the mood for a hearty, satisfying meal that offers excellent value for money, L'Antica should be at the top of your list. Just remember to come with an empty stomach and a big appetite – you'll need it to fully appreciate the generous portions and mouthwatering flavors...
