La Nice Étoilée — Restaurant in Nice

This was by far the best food we had while in Nice--we ate at some of the highest rated on Trip Advisor, trending on Tik Tok and infamous ones on the beach. The food was so delicious, very high quality (I would go as far as saying Michelin rated), and very creative. The owner/chef was very helpful and suggested some of the best dishes on the menu. The portions were huge, even by American standards (we did family style and ordered fewer dishes than people and we still weren't able to eat all of it.), and so less expensive than I thought it would be for a family of five (148 Euros and we ordered a bottle of wine and had additional cocktails) . **A Hidden Gem in Nice - Best Meal of Our Trip!

This place can only be described as a hidden gem. This restaurant provided us with the best meal we had during our entire stay in the city.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and friendliness. The chef and our server went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The server even took the time to come out and explain the menu to us in English, ensuring we understood all the options available. (Since the menu was only available in French)

The food itself was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was perfect, and the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food.

Don't even try to go here without a reservation. We stopped by for lunch Wednesday hoping to try it. It was about 12:30. There were 2 occupied tables inside; 1 outside. The server did not greet us when she walked by. On her return she asked if we had a reservation. When we said no, she turned her back and said it was fully booked and threw up her hands. That was it. Needless to say, we won't be trying it again.
