Le Bistrot De Jeff is rather unassuming from the outside, but if you’re looking for an unfussy French bistro, then this is what you’ve been looking for.

The service is efficient and very friendly, and the menu is what I would say is classically French. It was our 2nd night in Nice and we really looking for something to tick the box in regards to French food, and it did that perfectly.

To start we throughly enjoyed the Tomato and Buratta Salad, which was incredibly fresh and tasty. For main I had the Confit Duck and my partner had the Steak. Both dishes were superbly cooked, and my Confit simply fell off the bone - it was utterly delicious!

We finished off with a Creme Brûlée and a Apple Tart, and I have to say that the Brûlée was one of the best I’ve ever had - it was completely perfect in every way. It was so good I was tempted to order another!

If you’re looking for some delicious French food in an unpretentious atmosphere, then Le Bistrot De Jeff is an absolute must if...

I would give this place 100 stars if I could. I ended up eating here twice during my trip to Nice. I had lunch here and I also had dinner here and both times the food was absolutely impeccable and completely reasonable for the price. It’s an adorable local atmosphere and when I came, it was mostly all locals here During lunch and dinner. I would say this is a hidden gem, but the reviews will bring you here alone. Everything lives up to the hype from the perfect salad, the fantastic crème brûlée, the absolutely perfectly cooked steak and frites. I cannot recommend this place enough if you’re in Nice you absolutely should...

While staying nearby, we dropped in for a leisurely French lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is lively yet relaxed, and the team couldn’t have been more welcoming—they even brought us an English menu without us asking.

We tried the day’s fish, a chicken burger, and a mixed salad. The fish was perfectly cooked, paired with crisp seasonal vegetables that gave the dish a bright, balanced flavor. The chicken burger was juicy, layered with excellent bread that held up beautifully. Even the salad impressed—fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor.
