Weird experience, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. 😃 The cocktail bar looks fantastic and so do the drinks. Unfortunately for us, we left rather quickly after first being let in and told we could order and drink at the bar. We were explained at the bar that they were full, totally understandable, but maybe the staff should communicate between each other more to quell moments like this. There was tons of room to stand and enjoy a cocktail at the bar, like at almost all cocktail bars. Just not today at this one. 😉 Would I come back, yes every place needs a proper chance. The staff were very nice, polite and apologetic. Maybe next time then.

The next time happened twice. Great cocktails and even better service. It’s hard to find a good cocktail bar along the Riviera. But this one is worth finding...

Les Folies d'Edmonde is an absolute gem! Their authoral drinks are simply amazing, offering a unique and memorable taste experience. The cave-style atmosphere downstairs adds a special charm, perfect for an intimate evening out or a lively night with friends, especially with occasional live music. However, what truly elevates this bar is the exceptional staff, particularly Corentin, who went above and beyond to ensure our visit was unforgettable. Absolutely wonderful and charming cocktail bar. The owner was so hospitable and explained some cocktails with a local liquor (from Monaco) that may not suit all palates- after I ordered this drink she offered to make me something else if I did not enjoy it. Every cocktail we had was excellent. The service and quality were so good we went two nights in a row for drinks after dinner. The cocktails were some of the best we’ve had in our travels and cheaper than a simple spritz at the nearby touristy places. Add on her amazing hospitality and this is a must-try...
