Oh, dear readers, let me regale you with a tale of a restaurant experience so tragically amusing that it could be mistaken for a scene from a slapstick comedy. Prepare yourselves for a rollercoaster ride of failed service and culinary chaos!
Upon entering this establishment, I was immediately greeted with a sense of foreboding. The ambiance, or lack thereof, seemed to mirror the restaurant's apparent disregard for creating a pleasant dining environment. It was as if they had taken inspiration from a waiting room at the jungle, complete with no chairs we literally had to sit with some random guy
Oh, the things we endure for the sake of food!!
The comedy of errors began when our orders were taken Our friendly server, bless their heart, seemed to possess a superhuman ability to blur the lines between "fast" and "furious." Before we could even utter a word of protest or request a glass of water, our table was transformed into a veritable food fortress.
We didn’t get an enjoyable dinning experience,All food came at once it’s as if they want us to leave.
In that moment, we realized that the restaurant had a peculiar notion of time. They seemed to believe that we were on a tight schedule, ready to engage in an Olympic-level speed-eating competition.
Every bite we took felt like a desperate attempt to savor our meals, but the relentless pace left no room for enjoyment. We yearned for a moment of respite, a chance to savor each morsel and appreciate the carefully crafted flavors
To add insult to injury, the waitstaff exhibited an uncanny ability to disappear into thin air whenever we needed them. It was as if they possessed the power of invisibility, activated at the precise moment we sought assistance. We pondered the existence of an alternate dimension where servers frolic freely while customers desperately wave their napkins, longing for attention.
In the end, dear readers, our visit to this restaurant was a tragicomic affair. The food had potential, but the rushed and chaotic service drowned any hopes of a pleasant dining experience. If you happen to possess exceptional dexterity and a fondness for impromptu food fights, perhaps this is the restaurant for you. But for those seeking a leisurely, enjoyable meal, I implore you to seek refuge elsewhere, where the waitstaff dances gracefully and the food arrives with...
Read moreWe reserved at LouLou Pirate this Sunday afternoon. We were seated at the left upper level terrace in a corner table at 2:15 pm with direct sunlight on the table.
I asked the person who seated my party if we could have a small umbrella, and he replied “no people usually sit here all the time without complaining and the sun will turn anyway” without even taking the time to look me in the face!
The sun was obviously not turning until at least 3:15 or more.
So I looked at him and said, “you really do not care do you” and he replied “if you are not happy you can go to another restaurant” so I asked him if I could talk to the owner or manager, and he said he was the boss here, and left.
I would not dare think that it could antisemitism or race/religion related since my family told him that we do not eat any shellfish, and we had a 7 year old child with us.
Nevertheless, that does not excuse his interaction and attitude since he was at the head of the LouLou team in Roquebrune.
There were tables leaving and tables available, I went to a nice lady and asked her if we could change tables, she said of course, and had us seated on the spot.
Just imagine how such an encounter can ruin your day and pride when discriminated and treated like common cattle.
I was told his name was Guillaume, the restaurant manager.
My legal team will follow this matter for the safeguard of our integrity.

Read moreWanted start with saying that I am giving my opinion based on values for money 💰 and this NOT the place. The location and the view is the only positive ✨️ in this restaurant. On arrival it was not the best reception from a "lady" in white dress and dark hair. They start arguing in front of us as they couldn't find the reservation that has been confirmed. Watching the scene and the way she show us to the table we almost felt not welcome! Later on overheard other guest complaining about the reservation. We are local and knowing the competition in the area and italy 🇮🇹 next door they need to do some changes and improvements. Service was a bit confusing 😵💫 as we never understood whom was supposed to look after us... ? That was a result of non existing service and planty of confusions between the waiters. No to mention the pushy attitude. This kind of place and specially for the executive price they charge the service is far from satisfying. Not only the food, when you charge the bottle of wine as they do I need to ask every time for someone to refill my glas. It would prefer he left the bottle next to me so I can dobthe job myself... The worst of all is the price for simple pasta dishes or other dishes 🤑. It is too expensive for what it is. They are lucky to have the location and the view but it is not enough!!! You plenty of other restaurant with great views and good experience of food...
