This is a great hole in the wall for outstanding Azerbaijani cuisine. The owner and chef were so welcoming. The food was delicious and affordable. We loved the meat stuffed dolma, the lamb liver with potatoes and onions, and the chicken Tabaka. I was blown away by how tasty the food is and it’s also filling. The chicken tabaka was cooked perfectly and the garlic, dill, cream sauce was light, fresh, and savory. I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. They also have a room for parties and have Azerbaijani specialties for parties at home. They served us sugar free hot tea afterwards as a complimentary gesture. Everything homemade to order. So far I have tried the chicken tabaka, grilled lamb chops, grilled potatoes, grilled mushrooms, grilled vegetables, chicken chigirtma and my favorite, dolma. Almost all of it is cooked over charcoals and gives everything a nice smokey aroma that is not too overpowering. The kitchen is small so the wait time is longer for big orders but they give tea and sweets in the meantime. Good authentic Azerbaijan food, cooked directly as you order. We ordered 3 x dishes, which were all delivered at the same time. Incredible WiFi speeds of 250Mb There are a couple of tables upstairs that are open to the street as well as space downstairs for larger parties.
