We stayed in Massy for 5 days and so disappointing that we found this location on day 4 rather than our day of arrival. Phillipe is the quintessential feeling of having family away from home - we walked in as customers and he found time to carry on a discussion, introduce us to what we would consider regulars but whom he would simply call his friends, share about his family and how the menu is comprised of several crepes invented by long-standing patrons. We went into Paris each day and I would gladly put his menu up against any of the restaurants and cafes throughout Paris. He purchases his ingredients daily at a market that is a three-hour round trip from La Galettiere; which explains his opening at noon… a one-man show to host & greet, serve, chef, entertain, bus and clean - he absolutely loves what he does and the friends who return daily and from abroad to break bread at his tables. Intimate, quaint and nostalgic setting with jazzy music from a bygone era and the food is beyond description but in an attempt - immense selection of savory, fresh and memorable crepe plates with a robust selection of delectably sweet desert crepes to choose from, one could easily eat here for the entire summer and come up with a different combo everyday. Wine and drink selections along with the rest of the menu are amazingly affordable and when compared to Paris… extremely budget friendly - can’t wait to return to this gem just adjacent to the train station at...

You should definitely try and make a reservation up front and even this can be hard over the phone (if he's got time to answer). Anyhow, once you've actually managed to get a seat there, boy are you in for a treat. It's a very small restaurant but nevertheless packed with uncountable decor thingies to discover, creating a nice and cosy atmosphere, perfect for enjoying the one man show that is unfolding before your eyes. There is plenty of different galettes to chose from and I would definitely recommend a crêpe flambé as a dessert. This is definitely a go to...
