Kozy restaurant — Restaurant in Papeete

The chef is absolutely first-rate. The food was superb. Every dish was marked by characteristically fresh ingredients. Each dish had a very unique character. The effort the chef underwent to perfect each dish is readily apparent. The food surpassed expectations of even high class establishments in mainland France - I fully expect this to be the best restaurant I will eat at in French Polynesia.

Aside from the food itself, the atmosphere is, in a word, cozy. It is a unique blend of casual and formal, refined and provincial, elegant and down to earth. Service, attentive and friendly, without being overbearing.

One of the best meals we had in French Polynesia. Creative dishes drawing from local, Asian and French traditions. Crispy rice with tuna was crunchy on the bottom, topped with a beautifully seasoned tuna tartare and sprinkles of crispy onions (you can never go wrong with crispy onions); the cocktails were also excellent. The guavarita gets full marks for flavour and attention to detail. Staff were kind and welcoming, and even adjusted a risotto to cater for a vegetarian. This was also reportedly delicious. This place was absolutely AMAZING. I dont speak French, so a woman came and translated everything for me and was super nice and helpful. It was so cute and cozy on the inside, which isn't apparent from the outside. The food here was literally the best food I had in Tahiti. If I went back to Tahiti, I would eat here probably every day.
