Looked at “best lunch” reviews from our ship to be prepared when we disembarked, and our expectations were well exceeded. Staff spoke enough English to help, and the entire experience was excellent from food to service to atmosphere. Indoor air conditioning was a welcome reprieve from the rain and humidity as well, the lovely woman serving us was attentive engaging and fun, and the Chef (owner?) came by several times to ensure we were happy! This restaurant was highly recommended to us by a local wine merchant. We were overall disappointed with our dining experience. The waitress tried to push appetizer and entree selections that we were not interested in. The restaurant was out of many of the entree selections, and reduced our choice to tuna or papio fish. We were able to get a booking for lunch as dinner was booked out. What a superb dining experience! We were met at the door by the delightful chef, who helped us choose our meals as we are from NZ and didn’t understand all the French. The meal was one of the best we have ever had and was beautifully presented. The waitress was friendly and professional....
