I highly, highly recommend this place! It's more or a mom and pop kind of place, with regulars and a little off the beaten path, but WELL worth it. This is my first time in Paris and I wanted something truly delicious tonight. I've already had the beef tartare and foie gras. Tonight I took the recommendation from other reviewers and went here. I had the duck confit (confit de canard on the menu) and this was absolutely one of the best dishes I've had, American, Italian, or otherwise. It is delicate, juicy, tender, and the fries were the incredible. Add to this, the waiter was so friendly and courteous. I have to admit, as an American, I'm used to tipping so I feel a little guilty not adding a tip here. He was such an incredibly attentive, friendly, and funny waiter that I felt I should have left something extra. Go here and you will feel at home even if you don't speak French. I don't. The waiter wasn't fluent in English, so it worked out but it didn't matter. Such a great experience and I would give it more than 5...

After searching for quite a while we came across this restaurant. I'm glad we did.

The welcome was very friendly and much needed after a long journey. The standard menu was limited but still a few good choices, however the specials board had some interesting choices.

We ordered from the specials board and we were all very pleased we did. The food was delicious and very well presented.

The price was reasonable and given the great taste, the presentation and the welcome we considered it great value for money.

I would highly recommend this lovely little restaurant and I'll definitely visit again next time...

We had a good time despite the dreadful food. The evening was very warm and everyone at the tables around us were having a good time. Unfortunately, the diners on both sides of my wife were smokers. We started with a decent Negroni and then shared a perfectly garlicky serving of snails. Next my wife had some seriously overcooked roast chicken with an unattractive barbecue sauce. I had a tasty steak which was ordered rare and served well done. But the fries were perfect. One drink, two glasses of house wine, a shared appetizer, and two mains cost 115€, a lot more than we had paid for much...

We had an unforgettable evening at Au P’tit Zinc in Paris! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, creating an atmosphere that was both lively and warm. The food was exceptional, with each dish showcasing authentic French flavors. The wine selection was superb, perfectly complementing our meal. The desserts were unbelievable and not to be missed. The combination of outstanding service, delicious cuisine, and charming ambiance made our visit truly special. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic Parisian bistro experience!

Feels really homey. Great traditional French food, served by a very welcoming staff that makes you feel like you’re eating in their home kitchen. The owner Eric has incredible energy, zipping around the restaurant and tending to all the customers, many of whom are clearly regulars who keep coming back. He took really good care of us and despite my broken French, he filled us with great food and laughter.

The food is super delicious and the staff is very welcoming and considerate. They assumed I might like to waive ice cubes for my cider (although I don't understand why people find Asian don't take too iced things strange ... I've been thinking of it for long time as isn't it just a choice?) Anyway, this is a highly recommended place and super friendly in Paris! You can't miss it xxx
