I booked a table at Le Severo to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday, expecting a delightful evening with French meat dishes as advertised online. Unfortunately, this was one of the most upsetting dining experiences I’ve ever had.
Upon arrival, we discovered the menu had no resemblance to what was shown online. The promised French meat dishes were unavailable, with only minced meat or unappealing options from Canada or Germany offered. When I politely raised this issue with the manager, he became shockingly belligerent. I requested to leave without charge, but he insisted on charging us 90 euros. When I offered to order a small item like water or dessert to resolve things, he refused, demanding we stay for a full meal. His behavior escalated to verbal abuse, calling me a “loser” and “stupid,” forcing me to call the police for safety.
This hostile and unprofessional conduct ruined our special occasion and left us deeply shaken. Reviews suggest others have faced similar treatment, indicating a pattern. I strongly advise against dining here. I’m still seeking a refund for the...
Read moreGood food. Discourteous ( or should I say Rude) owner. We went here 7:15pm since our schedule was 7:30 pm We waited for the crew to offer us food and they did exactly 7:30pm.
Asked them if they have English menu the owner rudely said”no”. We asked him what he recommends, he speaks French and didn’t understand anything he said so we just ordered(I don’t blame him if he doesn’t speak English, I fully understand and respect it) but a smile wouldn’t cost him a penny.
Anyway the food were good. Steak was really soft.the is price is just. We smiled at him and said that the food were great. He just looked at us without even appreciating our acknowledgement for the food( and to think…NO one was inside the restaurant aside from us that time), no Merci, no smile, no anything just a vvveerryy straight face.
That’s how grateful the owner was! Unbelievable! but food was great. Still I...
Read morePicked this place to treat myself my first night in Paris. Huge regrets. Not only was the food mediocre I also got food poisoning so it ruined my whole stay in Paris. The server was perfectly nice. The owner won't acknowlege you unless you are French and there wasn't really a vibe at all, very quiet. The filet I ordered was dull of gristle and lacking in flavor. I didn't like the steak tartare at all, and I should have trusted my instincts because I am sure that was what caused me to be violently ill for the next 24 hours. I was unable to enjoy any food or finish a another meal for my remaining three days in Paris. I know there are risks with raw meat but for those kinds of prices and a butcher running the place, no one should be getting sick. Really upset this one meal prevented me from being able to enjoy my...
