Bistrot Au Poinçonneur — Restaurant in Paris

Very friendly staff and quick service. The hamburgers are delicious, served with yummy (handmade) fries and a salad. I ordered "Cuisse de poulet façon grand-mère", which I thought would come with fries and a salad as well.. Instead, the chicken came served on a heap of pasta.. It's a weird combination which I did not expect at all. The pasta was pretty tasteless, so I only ate half of it and rather against my liking. I was, of course, still very hungry (luckily I got to eat some of the yummy fries of my friends who were with me and did order a delicious plat). To satisfy my hunger, I ordered the "Coulant au chocolat minute" (moelleux), which was very yummy ^^ Soft drinks were €3,90, which is very expensive but, sadly, also very common in Paris. The food is budget friendly and had a good price-quality ratio. All in all a nice place with a variety of food, only too bad...

A generous formule midi deal. Certainly generous however perhaps the highlight of all 3 courses was the pannacotta dessert. The baked raviole would have been great had it been less wet (perhaps from not straining it sufficiently between the pot and the oven).
