Not very good, not very pleasant. Some waiters were ok, but we had a real “macho” with an only interest in PYT’s. The meat was ok, but not as good as we expected. Did not expect a tendon in it. There is really not much to choose from, just three kinds of meat. No salads on the menu. So if someone in your company wants to eat light, it is impossible (just that you know). The fries/chips looked nice, but were the worst ever, weak, wet and tasteless. Not crispy at all. Not freshly made for sure. Maybe from the day before? We came, sat down, ordered and got our food within 15 minutes. This also explains the fries, because they were obviously made some time before (microwaved?). Ordered sorbet ice as a desert, but got regular ice. The defrosted and microwaved pear tart was not that special either. Even the bill didn’t add up and we were an easy table. A very NOT romantic disappointing experience. We didn’t expect that.

The food was good. My wife and I had the entrecote. Both were prepared as we asked. The service was weird. At first, and in barely more than the blink of an eye, the salad and bread were delivered and the main courses were not far behind them. This all happened in a blur. Then the service turned glacial. Sooooo slow. We waited quite a long time and eventually asked to see the dessert menu, and the dessert took a very long time to be delivered. So the overall experience that we had with the service was almost whiplash. The seating was comfortable and otherwise the atmosphere was great. I wouldn't give a 3-star, review but 3.5-stars would fit what I experienced. In summary, it was good food with very uneven service in a nice setting. I'm sure that your mileage will vary.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) Very good restaurant! The quality of the meat is truly exceptional — tender and flavorful. The Scottish Black Angus was perfectly cooked and the homemade mashed potatoes were delicious. The fries and salad were also very good. Service was efficient and friendly, with clear explanations from the waiter about the origin and quality of the meat, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, our table was right by the entrance, so it was a bit cold. The desserts were good, though not outstanding. Overall, this is a great place to enjoy a nice meal with friends or as a couple. However, the prices are on the high side — the quality is excellent, but perhaps a little too expensive for what it is

My partner and I ordered two steaks, (€35 each) which we had no problem paying. when it came out it looked presentable but after the first cut the steak was severely undercooked. I ordered medium and medium rare and the steaks looked to have been cooked on a warm pan for about 30 seconds. My partners “medium rare” steak looked “blue.” We unfortunately couldn’t send back as they’d poured sauce all over it so we couldn’t see if the whole steak was undercooked till we started digging through.

The mashed potato was delicious on a positive note. Chips were okay. Salad was okay.

The staff could not care less about serving you. We were barely spoken to upon entry and felt like an annoyance even though we were spending a decent amount (on what turned out to be sub-par food).

Wouldn’t say this place met up...

We came all the way from Amsterdam after hearing so many good things about Black Angus, and it was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and from the moment we walked in, we were taken care of so well. One of the staff members, Chloé, made our experience even better. Her attention to detail, friendly attitude, and timing were spot on without ever feeling forced.

As for the food: hands down some of the best meat we’ve ever had. Perfectly grilled, full of flavor, and served just the way we like it. You can tell they really know what they’re doing when it comes to quality beef.

The whole evening felt like a treat from start to finish. Amazing food, top-tier service, and a lovely vibe. Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be coming back next time...
