Bozen Voltaire — Restaurant in Paris

To be honest, we don’t like publicly shaming restaurants, but our take-out experience was so disappointing we feel like we must warn the people. We ordered a few things for a celebration meal at home because we were enticed by the posters in the metro. The online interface was a bit weird, and one of the items in our order was different than what we had put in our cart. When they arrived, the boxes were so nice, like maybe we could repurpose this for some Marie Kondo purpose later, which lifted our hopes.

Unfortunately, we could not repurpose them because they were soaked through with fish oil and fruit wetness. The food was bland, oily, or super fishy, and used the same three ingredients for everything. The fruit and the rice both tasted like it had been frozen.

The place is usually very crowded. We went early and found a place. The miso soup was okay, tasted a bit different though. But the edemame was not steamed properly. Also, they could've just tossed it in salt instead of putting salt on top. The sushi was loosely rolled and stuck to each other. So it broke when picking it up. All in all, pretty average food. I think it's crowded because it's mostly community driven. Maybe regulars. But very average food. Service was slow too. They weren't really concerned. A bit expensive for...

J'y suis allée lundi pour déjeuner avec deux copines. J’ai commandé une salade Healthy à 16,5 EUR - très chère pour la qualité reçue (salade verte, 3 morceaux d’avocat qui se battaient en duel, quinoa et 3 tranches de chiffonnade de dinde style OF TOV...) mais admettons, on ne peut pas plaire à tout le monde. Le turn off complet a été lorsque la serveuse (sympathique à souhait) est venue à notre table afin que nous puissions payer notre addition et qu’elle m'a demandé pourquoi le serveur (gérant du restaurant apparement) ne m’a pas proposé le deal du midi? J’aurai payé 1 EUR de moins ma salade et j’aurai eu une entrée et une boisson incluses. Je lui ai dit qu’évidemment je ne le savais pas et, qu’un bon commerçant aurait du me le proposer par lui même... le restau était blindé clairement de personnes prenant des menus... BREF, le gérant a gagné 1 EUR de CA sur mos dos (et un coca/california roll) et a perdu une cliente. Il y en a, les maths ce n’est pas fait pour eux!
