You will be disappointed if you expect a Korean BBQ restaurant
This had been a Korean BBQ restaurant but had obviously changed to a diner owned and run by Chinese. The only thing that will remember that it had been a Korean BBQ restaurant: they use metal chopsticks, serve Kimchi in small metal bowls and offer Bibimbap. The gas fireplace is still left in the middle of some tables and you can see the closed smoke outlets on the ceiling above each table. Nothing of these is used any more. Chinese advertising on the walls, some waiters only speak Chinese - not even French (I don’t know if they speak Korean too … haha). Rather cold atmosphere. When we’ve been there, there were only Chinese guests.
I’ve asked for Korean beer or Soju…you probably guess already that they don’t offer none of these. So I ordered Tsingtao beer.
The service however was nice and friendly. The quality of food is good. Meat and vegetables are served roasted on a spit. As it is an „all you can eat“ offer it’s probably an economic option, depending on how much you eat. Non alcoholic drinks...

Now bear with me but to me the whole experience felt like being invited to someone's home rather than a restaurant. Which can be nice, it felt very authentic and comfortable, and the food tasted okay, but not restaurant worthy. Nothing was seasoned really except for salt, and i mean for the price that's just fine, but like dipping the meat in sauce/marinade for example would make such a big difference. I'm also used to barbecue places putting the grill lower than the table and i see why now, because here it wasn't and we were spritzed by hot oil from the meat 😭 we're fine though. The vegetables and garlic were also hugee slices, which unsurprisingly didn't cook well. But even though I sound overly critical i did have...
