Tucked away near the bustling Gare de Lyon in Paris lies an Italian eatery that promises much, but ultimately falls short of perfection. As I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with a warm smile and brisk service that hinted at a satisfying meal to come. The menu boasted an enticing array of pizzas, salads, and even burgers – something for every palate.

My eyes landed on the 4 cheese pizza, a classic choice for any cheese lover. The first bite delivered a wave of gooey, stringy cheese that sang with flavor. But as I delved deeper, I found the crust lacked the crispy base I crave, instead yielding to a disappointing sogginess that overshadowed the cheese's best efforts.

Next up, the bresaola pizza. Thin slices of cured beef adorned the pie, promising a salty, savory delight. Yet, as the flavors mingled on my tongue, I was met with an unexpected blandness. Where was the punch of the bresaola? The zest of fresh arugula? It was as if the ingredients had surrendered their unique qualities, leaving a pizza that was merely...fine.

In a city like Paris, awash with culinary masterpieces, 'fine' simply isn't enough. While this Italian restaurant showed promise, its shortcomings mean I won't be rushing back. Perhaps with a bit of tweaking – a crisper crust, bolder flavors – it could join the ranks of...

Désolé mais cata. Notre amie a réservé à 19h30, se rend compte de son erreur et les rappelle pour leur dire 20h. Ils disent ok. Une fois arrivés sur place il nous reproche de notre retard (manque de communication dans l’équipe?). On a réservé pour 8, certains avaient du retard, on présente des excuses pour la situation. On commande des boissons, il essaye de donner une eau payante à notre amie alors qu’elle avait demandé de l’eau du robinet, on demande donc l’échange pour pas payer l’eau non ouverte. Suite à ça je demande des tagliatelles à la truffe. Je reçois un mélange de tagliatelle et spaghetti (?) trop cuite. Notre amie commande un gaspacho en plat n’ayant pas très faim. Ils lui servent un gaspacho avec des bouts de glaces dedans. Aucun pain ne vient avec. On en demande. Apparemment on doit payer le pain? Heureusement qu’à la fin se rendant compte qu’il avait exagéré il a offert le pain. Et honnêtement le pain est la seule raison des 2 étoiles sur la cuisine car il était très bon. Mais ça ne rattrape rien le reste. S’en suit une amie qui arrivait juste pour la partie dessert car elle ne pouvait pas arriver avant. Le serveur s’énerve et dit que c’est pas possible de venir pour juste prendre un dessert. Il s’énerve alors tout seul d’autant plus et nous crie limite dessus en s’énervant aussi sur notre amie qui n’a pris qu’une entrée et en disant que ça ne se faisait pas. Hors à partir du moment où je prends à manger et à boire dans un restaurant j’estime que il n’y a pas un minimum à prendre? Le serveur se dispute avec notre amie et nous fait comprendre qu’on va devoir partir. Sur ce on décide de payer et partir. Il fait payer 2 schwepps à la place d’1 à un ami. Je paye de mon côté mes pates à la truffes et ma boisson. Je vais pour sortir et il me rattrape en m’accusant de ne pas avoir payé. Je dois lui montrer mon payement sur mon application pour qu’il finisse par me croire et allez voir dans ses tickets que j’ai bien payé.

En bref un service super agressif. Le seul point positif doit être les pizza sinon c’est tout. Première fois de ma vie que je mets un avis...

Literally the worst dining experience I’ve ever had!!!

I was here yesterday and stopped for a quick bite to eat and a drink. I ordered 2 servings of prancing balls and a bottle of wine for my friend and I.

The wine was revolting and the arancini balls were frozen in the middle. Obviously not made in-house.

I sent the arancini balls back and said I didn’t want them anymore. However, when the bill arrived, the 2 servings were on the bill. I questioned this with management but they insisted that I had to pay.

I would advise anyone reading this not to eat in this place. Terrible service, disgusting attitude, inedible food, and horrible wine.
