Ugh it’s 3am in the US and I’m craving this dish so bad! Haha This review is long overdue. This trip we tried the original place of this dish but it was a bit disappointing. I told myself we have to go here no matter what before returning to the US because I didn’t get my fix yet. This dish is so delicious that every time we are in Paris it’s a must. I even ask for an order to go too. The chicken was juicy and the sauce was to die for. Also who doesn’t love plantains. =) The owner is a very nice older couple who still cooks and waits on tables. He said him and his wife has been running the place for over 17 years. We asked “is it a new cook ?” and he said “if I have a new wife then it’s a new cook but I’m still married to the same one so old cook.” Hahhahaha Ps keep in mind they close from 3pm til I believe 5 or 6pm. Don’t go during this time. We got so lucky we made it barely in time and they still...

As a budget traveler, I was planning to have only one meal in a restaurant. But I end up visiting this place again during my 3 days trip. The Vietnamese food was authentic, taste exactly like I had in the residential quarter in Hanoi a few year back. And my second visit (ordered the same beef Bun dry) confirmed its steady food standards.

Affordable price/ friend staffs/ family atmosphere/ authentic and tasty food!

I recommend all we had tried: Vietnamese coffee Bo bun dac biet cha gio (dry bun noodle with beef and spring roll) Pho bo (pho noodle with beef, amazing soup, remember to dip all the fresh veg they gave into the soup!) Banh xeo (Vietnamese pancake) Banh cuon thit cha lua

There were a lot of selections on the menu, but I am might still get the same thing next time cause just nothing can be missed! I wish I have 10 stomach. Definitely visit again whenever I...

I had two meals at Đồng Tâm Restaurant in Paris as part of a pre arranged tour booking. Honestly, the overall experience wasn’t very satisfying compared to other similar Vietnamese restaurants in the area.

The portions were very small, and the food was just average in taste nothing memorable. It felt like the meals were made strictly to fit the tour budget, not with much care for flavor or variety. I didn’t enjoy it much and felt like I was just eating to get through the meal.

It might be different if you order à la carte, but as a tour guest, the experience left me...

I’ve been coming to this place for 14 years and it’s still my favorite Vietnamese place ever. I don’t even live in France anymore, but will travel just to come eat here. Love all the dishes that come with lettuce and herbs for you to wrap your own rolls. For the meat-eaters: try the caramelized beef with egg on top of tomato rice. For drinks: I love the three-colour-drink!
