This is the absolute best... When I looked at it from the street I didnt think that much of it, but when I stepped inside my view changed instantly... There were two elderly people (a waitress and a cook) working in the restaurant, both Japanese and they were very kind (probably a couple). The restaurant itself is very small but thats exactly the reason why it feels cozy. The Japanese food we got served was top quality. Truly some of the best Japanese food I have eaten so far... After we were done eating already 3 hours had passed and I didnt even notice. After we paid we were send-off with a lot of bows and thank you's, which made me like this place even more! I only give 5 stars when the food is exceptionally good and I don't have any complains at all about the ambiance, so 4 stars isn't really offending but that just means there are some things that could be better. This time however is one of the only times I would have wanted to rate a restaurant higher...

Read moreC’est compliqué. Sur le papier tout est rassemblé pour que ce restaurant soit une réussite : joli cadre intimiste, accueil chaleureux et très soigné. Je ne connais pas la nationalité des gérants du restaurant mais l’impression de l’authenticité japonaise est palpable. Et finalement… Une attente conséquente et pas forcément justifiée, le restaurant étant plutôt vide; mais surtout une qualité correcte qui ne justifie pas la quantité famélique. Je sais bien que l’inflation est réelle mais à ce prix là, on a l’impression de se faire flouer. Finalement on ressort du restaurant 2h après, en ayant faim et avec un sentiment mitigé. Un peu comme lorsque vous sortez d’un film primé au festival de cannes (donc nécessairement prétentieux) : si la critique l’acclame, si c’est une ode au voyage, vous ne pouvez que l’apprécier ou alors vraiment c’est que vous n’avez rien compris.
