Poor old grumpy & unfriendly owner - he kicked me out of the restaurant with the words "we're no library" because in his eyes I sat there "too long". I was working on my computer, but ordered lunch and a few drinks within the 3 hours. The cafe was half empty so I was not taking any seats. I just explained him that asking me if I would like to drink or eat something would be the better way to earn money. Never met such an unfriendly person! But the staff is also arguing with each other very loudly. Bad atmosphere all in all!

The younger server who served me at the beginning was pretty nice. If you read this - quit it dude! You deserve a...

Arrived famished after overnight trip from the US. Staff was friendly, not overly attentive - but that's to be expected in Paris. The beef tartare was excellent as was the croque madame. My kids order hamburgers, which are not on the regular menu. They were excellent. My son is extremely picky, I did ask for nothing on the burger but it did come with sauce and cheese. The owner was very apologetic. They are open after lunch, which is not common but very welcome after travelling.

Also everything on the menu has an English translation of what it is, so don't be afraid.

We came for happy hour (1600-0000) for some drinks and a small meal. We had a pina colada, mojito, aperol spritz, and some of the non-alcoholic cocktails. They were average overall, the pina colada tasted mostly of pineapple with no obvious alcoholic taste. We also had the fish and chips, which was a very small portion size. For the crepes, they were quite dry and very expensive for what you get, only a teaspoon of sugar for the sugar crepes, the Nutella crepes were better, filled with Nutella and drizzled with chocolate sauce.

Lovely visit, very friendly and great food. The snails were delicious! Lamb shank was really nice and absolutely huge, burger was really good apart from the bun which could have been a bit better - my partner said if the burger had been a better bun/brioche bun it would have been absolute perfection. Hot chocolate was lovely and coffee was alright - though coffee connoisseur partner noticed the UHT milk used.
