These things are ubiquitous in Paris. I guess Parisians love their Chinese food. I know I do.
You will see these in all parts of Paris and I think they talk to each other because they pretty much all have the exact same fare.
In 99.9% of them, you walk in, select prepared food waiting behind a glass counter, pay, eat, and leave.
You soon learn to only go to the ones in busy parts of town so you don't end up with food that was prepared days ago.
But Jin Xin Lou is the 1%. A rare pearl in the Tratteur Restaurant world.
The owner's son is a true french chef who actually studied with great chefs in Paris.
What this means is that their normal Chinese pre-prepared fare is exceptionally good.
But get this, they have a French Menu as well!
I'm talking about gourmet French cuisine.
...and it's exquisite.
So, a word to tourists... It's not near anything famous in Paris. There is absolutely NOTHING around that would interest you.

A Hidden Gem – Truly Delightful!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jin Xin Lou, and I must say – what a wonderful surprise! The food was absolutely delicious, full of rich flavors and beautifully prepared. Every dish exceeded my expectations, offering a perfect balance of taste and freshness.
The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. It's clear that a lot of care goes into both the food and the overall experience.
Jin Xin Lou is definitely a hidden gem worth discovering. I’m giving them a well-deserved 5 stars and will absolutely be returning. Highly recommended!
