A French Restaurant That Makes Delicious Beef Wellington

This place is tops. It strikes as a local spot, but they have great customer service even though we don't speak French. The food was delicious, everyone in our group liked what they had. I had their house Cesar salad and I finished it all even though I don't really order salads at restaurants. Had the Aperol Spritz to drink, you must as well. They have an indoor smoking section and non-smoking, however, since both are inside, some of the smoke makes it through. It's not a lot, but if you are sensitive to it you will notice. I would definitely recommend this place.

Classic bistro at a lively intersection with plenty of trees and pedestrian traffic. Plenty of choices and all six of us were happy with the salads, steaks, mocktails, eggplant parmigiana and other goodies on offer. The portions are fairly generous so overall this place is about a hearty dependable fare without any dishes really leaping out with excellence or innovation.

Visited the Cafe with family. Ordered individual items that would have been the equivalent of two English breakfast menus. The staff decided they will charge us for individual items, which came to 60Euros for two English breakfasts that should have cost 15Euros. When we complained to the staff, they were dismissive and said that we did not say the words ‘English breakfast’ even though the individual items were exactly the same. The staff then backtracked on the ridiculous notion that we had to say the words and the next excuse was that ‘we brought you large orange juices’.

This was again more than ridiculous because they did not ask us what size orange juice we wanted.

We should have asked to see the manager and gotten our money back, however with two young kids, we just wanted to leave the cafe’s toxic atmosphere.

We felt cheated and honestly it was daylight robbery. What a...

Terrible service. I met a friend who had already ordered a drink, but I didn’t feel like having anything because we were leaving for dinner soon. The waitress told me it was « consommation obligatoire », so I ordered some tea. She then informed me that they were not doing any hot drinks. So I was forced to order a cold drink even though I didn’t want one because I had a sore throat. After the waitress left, I saw that another table nearby had 3 teapots and the customers were drink tea. Great isn’t it ?! What kind of establishment will force you to order something, and then when you order from the menu they refuse to serve it to you. Best to avoid this inconsistent and...
