La Brigade - Oberkampf - Restaurant Paris 11 — Restaurant in Paris

Visited Paris with family in late July 2025. While planning the trip, we started looking for good yet affordable dinner options. La Brigade caught our attention thanks to its pricing and unique concept.

We made a reservation at La Brigade MK2 BIBLIOTHÈQUE two months in advance, but unfortunately, just a week before our trip, we received a cancellation notice with no explanation. That was disappointing, and we began searching for alternatives.

However, once in Paris, we decided to give La Brigade another try — this time at the Oberkampf location, which happened to be nearby. The place turned out to be small but cozy, with a very friendly and welcoming staff. The woman at the counter spoke English and gave us helpful recommendations, especially regarding meat doneness levels.

The food was delicious — the meat was cooked perfectly according to our preferences. There were four of us, but we decided to order the mix set for two, which was more than enough and left us very satisfied. The portion sizes were reasonable and filling, making it a great budget-friendly dinner option in Paris. They also offer takeaway, which is convenient.

A few downsides: the restaurant is quite small, with limited seating, and the restroom for guests is also tiny.

Overall rating: 4.5 to 5 out of 5. A great casual dining experience with excellent value...

A small, I would say Meat focus fast-food restaurant ! I tried their daily meal at 15euros and it made my day. The meat was truly good along with the homemade fries. You can also pick the sauce you like best (also there is a daily sauce on the board) ! I also tried their chicken nuggets but I found them a bit overcooked and too dry (#sorry) ! For dessert I had the Nutella chocolate cake which aslo tasted great. To finish you can pick from 3 different beers - I tried the IPA and it was good too. Always saw the place on Deliveroo and thought, yes next time will order. Ended up going there in person with friends, carnivore friends. The place does what it says on the tin, good quality grilled meats for a reasonable price. We took the Mortal Kombo, dont waste your time it id just lazy fried stuff that barely tastes of anything. The meats I would rank them as follows: Black angus Duck Fried Chicken Saussage Onglet

Their side sauces were ok.

I would come back though as their price quality value proposition...
