Fair & honest review: The corridor it's on is full of South East Asian, Kashmir restaurants and the competition seems to have developed a tradition of pushy promoters trying to drag you in off the street. Overall felt pretty lucky to end up in this place. Typical Indian starters, curries (chicken madras, medium heat was good) and Indian sweet (my favourite Gulab Jaman). Standard UK style not anything amazing but decent. They will throw in a free round of wine to entice you in, feel free to haggle for a deal and check it's adhered to. Afterall, if they're playing hard sell, so can you. One final unfortunate matter which counts for the missing star. A cockroach scurried over our table to waiters horror. We were nowhere near Kitchen, by window, I think it came from outside and it was only one I saw. Put it down to city life and maybe some bad neighbours in corridor as someone else wld have reported this if it was...
Read moreThe food tastes good, until you go to washroom the next day and regret having a stomach. I wish they use authentic spices. The place as per me was below average, broken seats, very old sofa and a weird smell inside. I wish my friend had not fallen for 30% offer that the guy from the restaurant offered him. The staff was nice but brings food to your table in incorrect sequence. I'm sorry, I'm Indian- we never eat Naan like baguette. Naan has to be served with a whatever side you have ordered. I think it feels like there is need to reinvest in the restaurant, make it more comfortable for customers and maybe decrease the amount of red in there. I will not talk about the washrooms but if you're someone reading this post until now, open the doors of your imagination...
Read moreGreat food, even better atmosphere.
I ate at this restaurant twice. The first time, the lunch was quite uneventful, although the food was both good and came in generous quantities. The second time, however, while the experience of the food was just as good (I got the vegetarian menu, and it tastes great) I striked up a conversation with one of the waiters, and got to chat on and off with him and several other members of the personel. They were very nice, and treated me to a mango drink and a a mint tea while we spoke about Paris. I greatly suggest those who visit Passage Brady to have lunch or dinner in this wonderful restaurant and have a small chat with the members...
