Omg! What a random, amazing find.

We were walking by after dinner and saw the lights on and a bit of a crowd and wondered what it was saw that it had a five star review didn’t realize that it was a wine bar so please don’t come here for craft cocktails, but if you want to hang out with someone who knows everything about wine in all of the French regions, as well as a little bit about Scotch because he’s from Scotland, this is the place for you to be. Stumbled into this Parisian wine bar and found more than just great vino— we found an American waitress who’s basically a wine whisperer. She guided us through French wines like a sommelier. The wine was superb, the ambiance was perfect, and the waitress’s charm was the icing on the gâteau. Cheers to a night we barely remember but won’t forget! Five stars! We wondered into this wonderful place very tired and very much in need of a glass of wine. We googled wine bar and Le 18 was in front of us. A moment of pure serendipity. It was early in the evening, not busy yet - simple, elegant space, incredibly friendly and sweet person at the bar (I have to say Scottish here so they may know who am I talking about :) who expertly suggested wine for us that was spot on and was very much enjoyed.
