The Mauritanian appetizer sampler was just OK - pleasant, but was neither unique, nor flavorful. Could have gotten almost the same at most pubs. Meanwhile the beef tartare was just plain bad, having far too much ketchup and leaving this sweet taste in your mouth that wasn't very nice.

Then I realised that it was actually a Mauritian place. It was a very tasty dish, kind of tasted like an airplane curry but actually good. The creme brulee was fantastic.
