Le Café des Sports — Restaurant in Paris

My wallet was stolen on a subway on Monday the 14th. The thief made a beeline for this place ($27 taxi ride) within 30 minutes and then pulled TWO 400 Euro charges off my debit card here. Almost $1000 USD.

Apparently with the approval of the establishment.

Really? An AMERICAN bank card? A dinky LOCAL bank at that? Under an AMERICAN name? And NO ONE thinks to check an ID while TWO 400 Euro, even, hits are made? This wasn't an ATM "withdrawal" someone had to run the charges.

My opinion is that they're in on it and split the take.

I don't give a rat's if their Mojitos are to die for, they're a front for fencing thefts.

Before a concert and looking for a beer, all the bar were selling 8-9€ a pint. So we walk and a very friendly/commercial guy showed us his bar... We were underground the charm haha !

For less than 10€ you have a very décent and Nice regina pizza, and a pint for less than...

Real nugget which provides great pizzas and other food selection including fish and chips. You can watch sports on the big screen and on Friday and Saturday evenings there are concerts. Saturday evening is also great for Jam sessions where musicians join up and there is a great atmosphere. Thank you to Karim, the boss, for his welcome as well as the very friendly and professional service provided by Soufian. Don’t miss going there.

Véritable pépite qui propose d'excellentes pizzas et d'autres choix de plats, notamment du fish and chips. Vous pouvez regarder les sports sur grand écran et les vendredis et samedis soirs, il y a des concerts. Le samedi soir est également idéal pour les Jam sessions où les musiciens se rejoignent et il y a une super ambiance.
