Le Limousin — Restaurant in Paris

This is my favorite place in this area of the 13th, near Tolbiac-Patay. It has everything: a fantastic happy hour, delicious food, kind service and a warm and convivial atmosphere.

If you're coming for lunch, you'll be joined by what seems like half the neighborhood. Reservations are recommended but I'm not sure how to make them except by phone. We were lucky enough to arrive early enough to still score a seat without a reservation but don't count on it. The same advice applies if you're coming for dinner.

The lunch menu is always on point. Their dinner menu is great as well. Every meal I've had here has been delicious.

I come here regularly for lunch when I am in town for business. The atmosphere is fantastic! There is hardly a place to sit as all of the regular customers, likely on their lunch breaks, have reservations. Not a problem, however, as the hostess quickly finds a spot for me. I’m seated practically elbow to elbow with other customers. Hustling waiters are taking orders as fast as they can, shouting the drink orders across the room to the bartender, cooks are sending the food with the ring of a bell as soon as it’s ready. As an outsider (I’m not French) I’m anxious as I attempt to order in my terrible French, but the waitress is quick to reassure me with her welcoming smile, despite the lunch rush. I have been coming here quite often for the past 6 months. Definitely one of my favourite places to go. The prices are very cheap for such delicious foods, it's hard to find this quality with such a low price in Paris. Entrecôte and rumsteak with blue cheese sauce is definitely my favourite, followed by the confit de canard. Their burgers are definitely one of the best in town, i've tried the classic and italian. Their Chèvre croustillant is addicting, and their brioche as a dessert is definitely worth coming for in every visit 💕
