This place had a very weird vibe and while the food was ok, it was also somewhat odd. Granted, it may have been my fault for ordering carbonara at a halal restaurant? Still the atmosphere and staff were the big drawbacks for me. It could be because we were seated somewhat close to the bathroom, but we kept getting strong wafts of what smelled like sewage throughout our meal. Also on the smell front, our server smelled so strongly of body odor that the whole table found themselves holding their breath when she approached. Finally, we were seated at the front of the restaurant by the bar and I was shocked that, in a post-COVID world, the bartender seemed to think it was completely fine and appropriate to open a bottle of water for customers with her teeth. The staff were so nice and welcoming, they were very accommodating to us speaking English. The decor was lovely and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I had the truffle rigatoni which tasted great. My husband had the beef crying tiger which was cooked quite rare. We really enjoyed the flavour, personally he would have preferred medium but it was still so enjoyable as the seasoning was so tasty. The mocktails we ordered were so fresh which complimented the food nicely. This is a must in Paris and we already look forward to coming back...
