Mooty — Restaurant in Paris

Owner sat us down nicely enough then proceeded to ask what we wanted. My girlfriend said she needed a couple more minutes to decide. I felt immediate pressure and didn’t want to rock the boat so I said why don’t you get us two entrées and some water while we figure out what else we want. (our plan was to order a full dinner with main courses). Owner asks me if this is a joke. I thought OK, this guy obviously is either having a really bad day or has a very odd sense of humor. Brings the water and says. “bonne dégustation” ie. have a good tasting experience Re the water, with contempt. We simply wanted a bit more time before ordering other items, and were met with insulting behavior. I don’t know if this guy thinks he’s running a nightclub or is a Parisian version of a grouchy Woody Allen film character, but I’m not amused. Even for Paris, known for mean servers, he was beyond rude so we left....

My hotel was just across the street, i came to try once with my hubby and found the food so amazingly well prepared. And i came back 3 other times with other friends, and it was so easy to please others as well. The environment was cozy and chic, staff were very nice, and they offer a list of food that is short but untraditional. Anyway, bravo to them will surely recommend to friends!

Recommend: Dish: Gambas, Ballottine de volaille Entrée: Bar, œuf mayonnaise. Dessert: Capaccio d’ananas

The seating is quite spacious, especially near the window area to the left of the entrance, it offers full sofa seats with nice/ warm lightings.

This was such an amazing find! The food and staff were excellent. We had such an amazing experience. The ambiance was everything as we had a corner table to ourselves.
