Was recommended by a friend and visited for dinner on a weekend. It was quiet in the restaurant in the early evening and I was quickly attended by the staff. Tried the Calamar Risotto (squid / seafood) accompanied by white wine. The serving of risotto came in a large, deep bowl that was heated up and kept the food warm till my last spoonful. The squid was splendidly fried but keep soft to the bite. The were two fried prawns and some sliced scallops. All of the seafood were very fresh and good quality and were given a right amount of salt that brought out the taste. The serving of risotto was generous, light in taste and had more of a porridge consistency rather than al dente but was nice and savoury. It balanced the taste of the seafood that was fried with garlic. The meal came with a bread basket and small appetisers of olives and blanched almonds. There was no need / no room for starters or desserts. Good experience but a tad pricey.

What a lovely find this was. It was quite close to our hotel and the review looked good so booked quite an early table. The food was exquisite and the flavours were sensational. My wife also enjoyed a well balanced cocktail, something that we had found in other areas in Paris was jot so good, bring so strong almost undrinkable! Here however, it was perfect. Service was good and although my limited French with their limited English, we managed to get exactly what we wanted and was perfect! 😂

We were in Petrus on Saturday and from the moment of arrival felt a warm welcome. The food was excellent and reasonably priced with a good selection of wine. The restaurant is clean and we'll run and busy which tells the story. Would recommend the Chicken for 2 . Restaurants are mostly judged by the food and prices and on that the Petrus has it right but what makes a good restaurant different is the staff. Here they get all the praise because they make the customer feel at home and nothing is too trivial. So well done Petrus keep up the good work and thank you for a...
