I love this place, mostly for its atmosphere. In the spring and summer you can enjoy the terrasse outside and chill while contemplating the basin, boats passing by, people jogging, sunset, etc. while the other bars and terrasses nearby make the place look and sound like a lively town square. You also have a cozy glass-roofed terrasse in case it's a bit chilly or raining outside, with tin outdoor tables and chairs. Perfect place for your apéro.
Inside you have rooms decorated like an old-fashioned private house, with a formica kitchen and a small bathroom (2 people at a time can get in the tub and drink there). Nice couches, sofas and armchairs, books to pass away the time, etc. Ideal to go work with your laptop in the afternoon. Nice pastries and cocktails, although the alcohol-free offering is rather limited. I haven't tried much of the food there.
On Saturday nights they sometimes have DJ sets and they regularly have exhibits and conferences over various topics, but mostly feminist issues. You'll also have wine tasting, workshops, tatoo artists, etc. Totally bobo and...
Read moreWent there for an event and the service was weird. It was a coffee and pastry buffet. There was no milk out and I can't drink coffee black. I'm standing there asking for milk with an empty cup, it's like they couldn't fathom putting the milk in the coffee cup before there was coffee. It's a busy event and hard to walk from outside to inside. Just give me milk even if there isn't coffee in my cup yet or just put milk out beside the coffee! Don't make me walk back and forth. Exact same thing happened twice.... Maybe it's normal to be so inefficient but I found it extremely annoying. And they just kept being smugly confident. No there is coffee out there, when it was empty. Tell them it's empty, no we just filled it. Was very badly organized for just having to keep coffee pots full and imo leave some milk out...
Read moreHad an awful experience with a waiter. She saw me coming, she saw me sitting down and installing myself, we basically talked because I asked her for the wifi code for my laptop I bought a tea and immediately as I came back with the tea that I bought she kicked me out asking me to leave the place for other customers without a laptop. Very rudely told me that they are not a coworking space, I tried to explain to her that I was planning to consume, that I had actually just bought a tea from them but she didn't care and asked me to leave. Is amazing that people like this is allowed to work in service. They have a policy of allowed hours for laptops that is written in a card, which I was respecting. I mentioned this to the waiter and she...
