Le Royal Daumesnil — Restaurant in Paris

What a lovely bar and great staff. Made a number of visits during our time in Paris on way south and also on return journey.

Very friendly bar staff and really generous of barman to give us a free shot as he knew it was 1st day of our holiday.

Prices are exceptionally good for Paris and beer and wine was excellent.

Absolutely a must...

We were staying nearby, visiting from Canada. We came here every morning for coffee, and sometimes in the evenings to write or connect.

Le patron est très sympathique: pour tout vous dire, j'étais un peu perdu dans le quartier et mon téléphone était déchargé--le tout arrosé d'une légère pluie. L'affable tenancier des lieux m'a courtoisement laissé recharger mon bigo à l'intérieur de son établissement et--sommet de convivialité--m'a gracieusement offert un généreux bol de chips. Je ne puis me prononcer plus largement sur l'offre gastronomique ou bibitive proposée par le patron; sur ce point, je vous conseille de vous référer aux autres commentaires. Si toutefois sa cuisine est à la hauteur de son sens de l'accueil, ce ne peut être qu'un délice. Merci encore patron, je reviendrai à votre comptoir si d'aventure mes pas me reconduisent dans...
