If you ever find yourself in the 14th arrondissement, we stopped by a little neighborhood crêperie just outside Parc Montsouris. We started with beef empanadas and chicken samosas. Unfortunately, they were reheated in the microwave, so the pastry was a bit soggy, but the fillings were really tasty. Of the two, the samosa was definitely the winner.

Then came the sweet crêpes : They had the classic salted caramel and of course I went for the caramelized apple with vanilla ice cream on top.

What can I say? From the very first bite, it was like taking a trip to Brittany:

butter sugar apples a crêpe cooked to perfection Large sweet crispy edges rich in salted caramel and above all loaded with butter.

To top it off, the server brought the bill with complimentary candies…

What can I say????

9.5 out of 10, just for that beauté du geste #zidane
