Our first dinner in Paris was at Funambule, and it could not have been more wonderful. We stumbled upon it by accident while looking for another spot that was closed—August in Paris, I suppose—and it turned out to be the happiest twist of fate.

Craving potatoes, I ordered the duck confit with new potatoes, while the rest of our family of four enjoyed a beautifully prepared aubergine dish and two delicious chicken plates for the kids. Everything was muah! The new potatoes were so perfect they nearly brought tears to my eyes, and the Dijon mustard was unlike any I’ve had before—sharp, smooth, and unforgettable. The wine was silky smooth The plates were artfully presented, the flavors impeccable, and the service spot-on. The servers were warm and welcoming, even though we speak no French.

We ended with a crème brûlée that was the ideal finish to the meal. Best of all, the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality and presentation. This was Paris dining at its best—unexpected, memorable, and an...

We took our 4 kids and had the set menu, the staff were excellent, good value but not being French speakers it was a bit hard to navigate. The staff tried really hard to translate and make suggestions for the kids and we all tried some delicious French food, some with a Asian infusion. Probably wouldn't recommend if your kids aren't adventurous but if they are this is a great restaurant! 10/10, well done!! The KDSM Crew from the Gold...

We stumbled upon this place as our destination was not open yet. The service was excellent- Assan was so friendly, attentive and helpful. They have 2 menus since the sister restaurant Sesame is next door so plenty of vegan options. Cheese plate was excellent and the dal was wonderful. My husband had the duck gratins and liked it very much. Afterwards, Assan gave us a delicious coffee/ liqueur digestive of his own...

Today, I was so hungry and just passing by. I did not expect to have an amazing dish but just wanted to eat at that time.. However, everything was beyond my expectation! The duck confit was perfectly cooked!!! It was soooo juicy and was not as dry as the other restaurants. Also, the staffs were super friendly the price was amazing as well!! It only cost 16€ for such a big portion! Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed this place! The food was great, reasonably priced and the waiter was super friendly! I sat outside and ordered some food and a glass of wine in my basic French. The waiter was so kind and continued in French because he could see I was trying. I had enough space to practice my French homework and enjoy my meal and wine.
