I swim here frequently because it is close to my home, but it's easily one of the worst public swimming facility within 10 kms. Peeling paint, chipped tiles, dark, humid changing stations without proper drainage, no lockers and a tiny bench to take shoes on and off: This pool is badly need of an update. Despite the fact that it's sub-par by Paris standards, it's also often very crowded, particularly on weekend mornings in the winter. Very restrictive hours make the crowd situation even worse. While there is technically a capacity limit, it's unclear to me whether this is enforced; I've been here several times when it is truly impossible to determine your own lap pace because you are swimming 7 or 10 people to a lane. Montherland is less than 1 km away and much, much nicer (though can also become...
Read moreTwo indoor pools housed in an old building that needs a new paint job. Water temperature doesn't feel as warm as advertised (28 degrees C). Toilets look very used, but are clean. Changing rooms are clean. Showers are very warm with dispensers fo soap/shampoo provided. No lockers available, all clothes are to be hung up and stored in a guarded storage room. The use of a swimming cap (bonnet) to cover your hair is obligatory and men can't wear boxers. In the lobby you'll find vending machines with caps, bathing shorts and swimming glasses, as well as machines for hot drinks and...
Read moreHorrible experience. If you are not used to public pools in Paris, please prepare for an unpleasant experience. Shower before getting in the pool, bonnet obligatoire, one piece etc. You cannot wait for your kid to do a lesson without a swim suit, you cannot go with a baby, you cannot go with a bag of items to the area where the pool is at. Plenty of rules and the staff is horribly rude and on a power trip. They speak down to you and treat you poorly. Try another activity instead. Pools are definitely NOT...
