Friendly staff and atmosphere, but sorry the meals were of poor quality, even for 10€ each: First, the couscous was very likely made with cheap canned ingredients, the very same we get for cheap in a supermarket like Carrefour. We could tell because the shape of the vegetables were the same as canned ingredients, and they tasted all the same like the sauce: almost no taste.
The salad "Chèvre chaud" was nothing fancy: two slices of cucumber and tomato and some cheap bread with basic goat cheese. The sauce seemed to be from the supermarket as well.

The service is second to none. We felt very welcome despite our struggle with the language. The proprietor spoke excellent English and made us feel like extended family.
The food was excellent with many North African dishes to go along with some excellent traditional offerings we started with the escargot. Our teen had the cheddar burger, which was delicious). My wife had a traditional cous cous with beef and chicken and I had the duck confit. Both were perfect.
The proprietor shared a little of his history and his love for cuisine and we finished off the meal with a kettle of freshly muddled mint tea.
