It was the worst experience in Paris, unfortunately, the worst food ever. We had a reservation through "The fork".We arrived through heavy rain outside and the manager didn't even care to check for our reservation but rushed to take us to another place saying that the store was full (three tables of 2-4 persons were inside -all the rest was empty). We went to the other store (bistro Aldo)but we demanded to take us to the one we made the reservation. We explained our order to the manager over five times,he didn't write down anything and of course the order was wrong. They brought the food from the other place. The onion soup..terrible..cold..with a slice of bread inside like rubber. The duck was cooked medium, though asked well done and the rumsteak was well done and burned though we ordered it medium. When he came to ask us how the food was,he was rude and was trying to teach us with an attitude how the meat is cooked. I am shocked about the score of this place! All was terrible. The 20-30€ per person are only after the 50% discount, otherwise it's very expensive and overpriced for its quality. Afterwards, they cancelled our reservation in the app so as not to comment and score. I wouldn't recommend it even...

I wish rating ZERO was possible! We arrived on spot 10 minutes before our confirmed reservation time , however the waiter seems very busy and told us to wait for a few minutes, which is normal. What isn’t normal is that they told us to follow him to another restaurant because he didn’t have any empty spots… this is not the big problem, the big problem is that we followed him to another restaurant and we had to wait for 40 minutes and even though we couldn’t get a table so we had to go back to original restaurant and claim that we’ve been waiting for one hour without getting a table, however we had a confirmed reservation, the response were so rude and they asked us to follow him to another restaurant which is a third place that belongs to the same owner! 75 minutes after arriving we got a table by forcing and by threatening that we are gonna tell everyone in restaurant that this is so bad! If you’re not able to manage your restaurant better either to close your place or to be polite to people and at least apologise for...

LOCALS + TOURISTS DO NOT DINE HERE!

This has got to be the worst experience I’ve had in a restaurant.

The champagne was terrible, served in plastic cups. The salmon Gravlax hadn’t been fillet properly, had a fishy smell and simply didn’t taste great.

After my starter the waitress took our plates but told us to keep our dirty cutlery for main? Disgusting

I was seated in the depressing basement, There is wiring units running from the basement to upstairs, big trip hazard, also exposed wiring coming out the wall.

I waited over 35 minutes for my main. It never came, went to ask, waitress said 1 minute. About 4-5 passed. I got up paid for the starter and champagne and left. Ruined my dining experience on New Year’s Eve! Well executed

[ ] No one even asked how my food is [ ] Toilet in the same room as where I’m dining, for men, woman, and staff! [ ] Power cut 2 times in total, [ ] Waiter coughing on menu -[ ] No Kitchen in building. Food taken from...

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I booked through TheFork, but the menu I was given inside was completely different from the one displayed at the entrance. The prices were significantly higher. For example, a dish Penne al tartufo clearly marked as 22 euro on the official menu outside was listed as 28 euro on the menu I received. This feels dishonest and unfair to customers. I even took photos as evidence of the price difference. When I reported this issue, the restaurant refused to acknowledge it. ⚠️ I strongly advise everyone to double-check the prices before ordering. This kind of misleading practice ruined my dining experience, and I will never come back.

Le Parisien is an oasis near the Gare de l'Est in Paris. We stopped by the City of Lights for a couple of days at the end of a two week vacation to France, where we visited the Loire River Valley, Bretagne and Normandy. Gabriel, the owner of Le Parisien, is so friendly and helpful we were amazed, for our experiences in big cities no matter where in the world, usually involve people being impatient or abrupt. We first visited le Parisien while waiting to check in at our hotel next door, and we later stopped by this lovely place a couple more times for bruschetta, beer, coffee, and conversation. Highly recommended!
