The food here was honestly great—I had the spaghetti Bolognese and a Vienna coffee, both were spot on. But there was this one staff member, who looked straight out of Disco Elysium’s Kim Kitsuragi, and he just… kept ignoring us. It happened three times. First, when we asked for some water. Then, when I tried to ask if they had Wi-Fi (never managed to connect, by the way). And finally, when I wanted to flag him down to ask for the bill. Every time, he just brushed us off, while actively assisting the “white” customers—checking in on them, asking if they needed anything, and being generally attentive. We’re Asian, and I really don’t want to jump to conclusions, but it was hard not to notice the difference in treatment. My friend and I couldn’t shake off the feeling of being deliberately overlooked, and I honestly can’t think of any reason for it other than, well… the obvious one. It’s a shame because the city and the restaurant itself gave me mostly good impressions. They even offered a paid luggage storage service that really helped us out. But this one staff member’s behavior left an unnecessarily sour note on an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.

As authenic as an italian restaurant in paris can be! The dimmed lights and the small lamps on the tables warms up the place ....makes it suitable for a romantic cozy date. The ceiling is covered with green plants (plastic but so realistic) for that sprinkle of organic enegery .. Overall, the brown on green with dimmed lights...the amazing Playlist playing in the background makes you wana stay, enjoy your meal, absorb the enegry that italian restaurant.... definitely worth a visit even just for a drink I got a carbonara that was up to any standard ... world class carbonara with guanciale and Pecorino cheese.... i can honestly say that this date i haven't had anywhere in france a real carbonara (except at my Italian friend's place) The wine menu has a selection of great italian wines. And finally, all waiters have that italian accent that turns ur day around I was alone in that restaurant but having the time of my life! Ciao and until next time! Highly recommended!

Stumbled into SEB Café on a morning stroll through Paris and instantly knew I found that spot. The vibe is effortlessly Parisian — cozy but modern, filled with sunlight, the kind of café that makes you want to linger with a book and pretend you’re a local. Service was warm and unhurried in the best way, giving me time to sip, savor, and people-watch. I ordered a pasta , and wow… the pasta was smooth, bold, and balanced — none of that bitter tartness of garlic you sometimes get. The flavor perfection, savory enough to make me rethink every pasta dish I ever had. SEB Café doesn’t feel touristy at all, just authentic and relaxed, with that Paris magic where time slows down. If you’re wandering through the neighborhood, grab a seat, order something, and just be.

We chose this place expecting a nice Italian meal in Paris, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The food itself was already underwhelming. The real issue, however, was the shocking hygiene. My friend placed her handbag and jacket next to her chair, only to discover that the restaurant had placed sticky glue traps for mice directly on the floor where guests are seated. Not only is this extremely unhygienic, but it also raises the question: what happens if a mouse actually gets caught in the middle of the dining room while people are eating? If your restaurant has such a serious mice/rats problem that you need glue traps in the middle of the dining area, you should close down temporarily and resolve it properly before serving customers.

Her belongings were completely ruined by the glue, and instead of offering a real solution or an apology, the staff laughed it off and even tried to charge us a “cleaning fee” for handing us a cloth to wipe it off ourselves. Needless to say, the glue did not come off her bag, jacket, or even her hands. When we suggested they clean the floor to avoid the same thing happening to other customers, we were mocked again.

Overall, a very unpleasant experience at a high price. Between the poor food, the lack of hygiene, and the disrespectful attitude of the staff, I cannot recommend...

This restaurant truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere was exactly what you hope for in Paris, vibrant yet relaxed, with a beautiful balance of energy and comfort.

We ordered a variety of dishes including pizza, pasta, and salad, and every bite was exceptional. The pizza had a perfectly crisp crust and fresh, flavorful toppings. The pasta was cooked to perfection, rich and full of authentic Italian flavor. Even the salad stood out, fresh and beautifully dressed, proving that they take just as much care with the details as they do with the main dishes.

Service was attentive without being intrusive. Our server anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask, and everything was brought out promptly.

It is rare to find a place that delivers on food, service, and atmosphere all at once, but this spot does it effortlessly. Without a doubt, one of the best meals we had in all of Paris....
