Exploring the museum's collection is a delightful experience that offers a comprehensive understanding of the evolution of perfumery. From ancient civilizations to modern-day techniques, the exhibits beautifully depict the rich history and cultural significance of fragrances. Discover the fascinating world of fragrances at the Musée du Parfum in PARIS, a must-visit for perfume lovers! My recent visit to this museum was a pleasant experience, and I would rate it 4 stars out of 5. The only downside was that the cashiers seemed a bit distracted, but the saleswoman was very helpful and provided excellent assistance in selecting perfumes.

Upon entering the museum, you'll be transported to a world of scents and aromas that will awaken your senses. The ambiance is elegant and sophisticated, and the exhibits are well-organized and informative. You'll learn about the history of perfume and the art of perfumery, from ancient times to modern-day production techniques.

What sets this museum apart is the opportunity to smell and experience a wide range of perfumes, from classic French brands to niche and lesser-known labels. The quality of the products is top-notch, and the sales team is knowledgeable and passionate about their craft.

Although I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, I deducted one star because the cashiers could have been more attentive in showing my way to the museum. To improve, the museum could consider adding more interactive exhibits and activities to engage visitors further, and maybe have some signs for the entrance.

Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to the Musée du Parfum in PARIS. The experience is unique and unforgettable, and you'll leave with a newfound appreciation for the art of perfumery. I can't wait to come back during the summer season to try out the...

Obviously they aren't manufacturing perfumes in the middle of Paris, so don't expect to actually see perfume production here. Instead, it's a small collection of the brand's founders' personal perfume memorabilia along with some (dark!) visual and virtual displays about how perfume is made. What they've really got going on here is a tourist trap perfume shop selling mediocre scents to awe-struck tour groups. I couldn't believe how much money children on school tours and travelers clearly coming from developing countries were dropping in the gift shop. The "guided tour" is about 20% museum visit and 80% hard sell, and they know how to sell. Personally, I was not a fan of any of the scents I smelled here or at any other Fragonard shops (I've also been to their factory in Eze, which is significantly more interesting) and would recommend that you shop for scents at Paris' beautiful department stores (if you want a good selection) or somewhere like Jovoy (they were appallingly rude to me but I'd rather have a rude employee sell me a great perfume than a cloyingly friendly employee sell me a mid scent).

Whether you visit or not, the little square at the museum entrance (in the pedestrian street) is one of the most beautiful little slices of Paris...

I've been to France twice, and I always stock up on Fragonard perfume! There's a museum right next to the Galeries Lafayette in Paris. Fragonard is one of the world's top 3 perfume makers and the only French perfume brand that hasn't gone commercial in over 300 years, even producing for brands like Dior and Chanel. Fragonard is a household name in France, but it's only sold locally and not exported! Especially in Asia, it hasn't done any commercial promotions or celebrity endorsements, so not many people in China know about it. It's considered a niche brand, but thanks to Qi Wei's recommendation, more people are discovering it now! It's definitely worth trying, especially since it offers great value for money. A perfume with the same fragrance concentration from Dior or Chanel would cost over a thousand yuan, while Fragonard is just 300-500 yuan, saving you half the price! Plus, it lasts a full 24 hours, and the scents are absolutely delightful. Here are five must-try fragrances: 1. [Thumbs up] **Etoile (First Lady)**: This is Fragonard's signature scent, with a 70-year-old formula that has never changed. It was a favorite of former French First Lady Carla Bruni, hence the nickname "First Lady." It's characterized by elegance—a floral scent with a sweet beginning and a steady finish, like a graceful beauty. The base notes blend rose and wood, creating a charming, serene aura, hence the name "Etoile" (Star). If you've never tried Fragonard before, this is a great place to start, as it's universally appealing. 2. [Thumbs up] **Etoile (Starlight)**: A fresh, light scent inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night painting. It evokes the clear skies of southern France, offering a refreshing and comfortable feel. Perfect for those who prefer subtle scents over strong ones. 3. [Thumbs up] **Iris (Flirtatious)**: Iris oil is the most expensive essential oil in the world, and this perfume contains a high proportion of it, making it quite precious. However, the scent is the opposite of its name—it's稳重端庄 (steady and dignified), making it suitable for lawyers, teachers, and business professionals. The base notes of musk and peony are very oriental, creating a unique blend of East and West. 4. [Thumbs up] **Doux Amour (Sweetheart)**: High in vanilla oil, it smells as delightful as a doughnut, bringing joy and happiness. It's said to be developed in collaboration with psychologists to create a scent that makes you feel relaxed and happy, like having dessert. Ideal for those in love or young adults, it's very attractive to the opposite sex. 5. [Thumbs up] **Diamant (Diamond)**: An oriental scent, also unisex, with a stronger musk component. It has a middle note of gardenia and orange, giving off a reliable and steady vibe. Perfect for business meetings and formal occasions. They say musk brings good fortune—haven't verified that, though!
