Are there any fellow wine lovers who also crave authentic Chinese food? Usually, Chinese restaurants focus on beer and offer poor wine pairings, but the owner here is truly passionate about wine. She’s passed WSET Level 2 and is currently studying for Level 3. So in her restaurant, she’s always experimenting with which dishes pair best with different wines. We ordered spicy chicken (辣子鸡), and following her recommendation, chose a crisp white wine—which surprisingly made the dish even more aromatic!
For another dish, we compromised between our cravings for sour fish soup (酸菜鱼) and lamb hotpot by ordering the Fish & Lamb Clay Pot (鱼羊煲). It was light and perfect for summer, pairing beautifully with white wine.

We were five and tried only a few meals from the amazing choice they offer and everything was fantastic. More than that, the owner gave us quite a few details on the specialties they were offering mixed with great pieces of advice. We will definitely come back more than once. #Fired chicken is very good. I've just try the spice level 3 but I think the next step (level 6) may fit for the one who can eat spicy food.
#Seaweed soup is very good (more the it look like in the picture). The clear soup is comdensed of flavor. Must try.
#Beef stired is also good with the spice level 3.
#Mafo tofu is average (a bit better) for the Sichaun kind of food.
