Review: Positive: Ambience, decoration, and food.

Negative: It was that very day when my fiancé and I decided to celebrate our engagement. We booked a table and drove up there, we had to park approximately 50 meters far away from the restaurant. As soon as we entered the restaurant, the two waiters saw us standing at the door but didn't greet us. We waited for around 4 minutes before a younger waiter came over and asked us right away if we've booked a table, then he pointed at the table that was booked for us, it table was next to the hallway, where waiters walked by every 5 seconds very quickly. We kindly requested to sit at another table knowing that half of the restaurant was empty, and it was a Thursday. After we sat down, an older waiter tried taking our order and was in a lot of hurry so he stood there for not more than 10 seconds, then he suddenly left while saying: “decide what to order first, then call me”.

After waiting for well over 10 minutes, the second younger guy came and took the order. It's complimentary to get a bottle of water in France for free after being seated. (it's the law). We ordered a bottle of wine and got the starters and STILL had not water !! After asking 3 times for water, the older guy runs by our table and clashes the water bottle while walking, sliding the bottle across the table. The same happened with the bread. After enjoying the amazing starters, the main course was thereafter a short break between courses. The food is made with a lot of love and experience, the food out rates the service in every way and aspect. Still, the complete experience is not complete if the representative of the restaurant is rude and disrespectful. The older waiter didn't come to our table, not even once, and he was giving us a bad look every time he came by. We wondered why then we complained to the younger waiter about that, the younger waiter started laughing and calling loudly to his colleague that we are upset !!! Unbelievable. We didn't have a lot of time to finish food slowly, so I ordered two coffees as my plate was still half full, I had finished eating, but the older waiter refused to get take the coffee order, saying that he is not getting the coffee while we are still eating !!! Just to test his reaction, I asked him nicely to pack my filet to go :D, he looked badly at me and commented with a low voice, he then after took my plate and put my €30 veal filet in tinfoil !!! I told him, please put it in a normal takeaway package, he then took the tinfoil packed meat and put it in an ice cream box :D His reaction was priceless :D. Before standing up to pay, the younger waiter came with 2 coffees that the other waiter didn't want to order, we told him that his colleague didn't want to take the order, and we don't want them, because we are leaving. My fiancé then took one and I returned mine. After ordering the bill for 4 times, I went to the bar and offered to pay right away, the younger waiter then showed me the bill with 2 coffees on it, I didn't want to pay for a coffee I did not order or drink. He started getting rude and speaking loudly. I reacted accordingly and told him, that his service is really poor, he then told me to get out and never come back now !! I saw many rude waiters in my life but none like this one. In what world should someone live, where a guest is treated like a parasite and thrown away after trying to enjoy an evening and...

Nous sommes venus dans ce restaurant 3 fois en une semaine. Il en ressort 3 expériences différentes mais toutes très agréables. Personnellement étant un client plutôt exigeant pour ne pas dire un tantinet chiant j’ai trouvé l’équipe plutôt compréhensive. La première fois à 8, la deuxième fois à 10 et la dernière fois à 3. J’ai pu en goûtant dans les plats de tout le monde tester la majorité de la carte. Que dire : La présentation est impeccable, en effet le service est joli et permet une belle mise en valeur des produits. La qualité des produits est au rendez vous. Aussi bien sûr les légumes, les viandes que les poissons. En terme de quantité on n’est pas à plaindre on pourrait largement ne faire qu’une entrée et un dessert ou seulement un plat et sortir repu. En tout cas si vous faites entrée plat dessert il y a de grande chance que vous demandiez un doggy bag ou partiez avec la peau du ventre bien tendu. Mes plats préférés : En entrée la pyramide et le trio de saumon (surtout le tartare de saumon exceptionnellement bon)

En plat : Le pluma de porc et les saint jacques

En dessert : la sphère 100% chocolat malgré un descriptif qui semble présenter un dessert lourd. Nous avons la un dessert très gourmand mais qui reste léger.

Petite mention pour la charcuterie qui est vraiment de qualité.

Le service : A première vu on pourrait croire que la Gerante n’est pas agréable mais en fait nous avons là une personne a l’écoute et très compréhensive. D’ailleurs merci pour le chocolat liégeois qui n’était pas a la carte. Les serveuses malgré Le fait que mes filles puissent perturbés le service sont restées calmes et professionnelles.

Zeer teleurstellende avond. We gingen vol verwachting naar dit restaurant om iets te vieren en uitgebreid te dineren in een zgn. sfeervolle aangename setting. Tot onze verbazing zaten er aan de tafels naast ons twee families met kinderen te ruziën, inclusief een vader die zijn kind hardhandig en langdurig sloeg, met meerdere mobiele telefoons op vol volume. Verre van "fine dining". We besloten tegen beter weten in te blijven en er het beste van te maken, de bediening greep niet in en liet de luidruchtige families hun gang gaan. Uiteindelijk gingen zij weg en alle tafels om ons heen slaakten een zucht van verlichting want deze families hadden buitengewoon veel invloed op de sfeer in het restaurant. Vervolgens komt er tot onze verbazing een nieuwe familie met twee jonge luidruchtige kinderen, en wederom grijpt de eigenaresse op geen enkel moment in. Dit tot ergernis van meerdere tafels. Haar antwoord: ik ben niet verantwoordelijk voor andermans kinderen. Nee dat is logisch, maar als je een restaurant runt en kwaliteit wilt bieden (want daar betaalden we meer dan ruimschoots voor), dan ben je op zijn minst verantwoordelijk voor hetgeen je accepteert in je restaurant en waar je andere gasten mee confronteert. Is het niet voor jezelf, dan op zijn minst voor je gasten. Het was een schandalige vertoning die ik nog nooit heb meegemaakt. De eigenaresse maakte ons geen enkel excuses voor het bizarre verloop van de avond. We zijn voortijdig vertrokken en hebben het dessert elders genuttigd. Ik raad dit restaurant...
