Food was OK... But the main issue was that the menu items that had drawn us in were not available, despite having been listed on specials boards both outside and inside the restaurant.

My French language skills are passable, but the owner failed to clearly convey to us that we had ordered would be completely different from what was to be delivered.

The other issue for us was that the young French waiter, who was much better at English than the lady who was clearly the boss, was regularly being berated by the boss in proximity of the clientele.

He was actually far better at front of house and customer relations than his boss.

As for atmosphere... We...

Situated in the sweet spot of the Provins historical centre, this unique restaurant offers a winning recipe for the ultimate French culinary experience at an affordable price. We enjoyed a great deal our family meals at this restaurant, with every visit being even more special than the previous one. It is one of those typical French restaurants that closes at 2pm so beware of that. The food was delicious, I had the Pork with pepper sauce, and my husband the salmon. Both really loved the dishes.
